Advisory and Guidelines to Examinees taking the

LAQE Online Exam

Accomplish and execute the following as soon as you get this advisory

Requirements:

1. Laptop or Desktop Computer with webcam

2. Strong and reliable Internet Connection (mobile data not recommended)
3. Examinee’s School Identification (ID) (Student’s name and picture should be
readable and clear)

Guidelines:

Days before the exam

1. Download and install the Safe Exam Browser 3.3.0 (for OS version: Windows 8.1 and
10), Safe Exam Browser 2.4.1 (Windows 7 OS), Safe Exam Browser 2.3.2 (Mac OS).

2. Download and install Zoom Client for Meetings (zoom.us/download)
3. Set-up and test webcam and microphone for the video conference (failure to connect
the audio or video will result to disqualification)
4. Find a room within your home clear of distractions during exam
5. You will be provided with a Zoom Meeting Links and a Username and Password via
email

July 28 or 29 – Simulation Testing

1. Join the Zoom Meeting at 8:30AM

2. Log in at KHub using the Username and Password sent to your email
3. Take the Simulation exam
4. (optional) Troubleshooting of accounts in cases of technical concerns

August 1 - On the day of the Exam

1. Make sure you have eaten breakfast. There will be a 15 minute-break after the
Science Proficiency Exam (you will be in the room for 4 hours and 15 minutes),
2. Situate yourself in a room that is confined, conducive, well-lit, free of noise and
distractions
3. There should be nobody else in the room for the entire duration of the exam
4. You may bring two sheets of bond paper and a pencil for scratch work
5. Join the Zoom Meeting by 8:00AM (late comers/registrants will not be
accommodated)

6. The Proctor will check the attendance (examinee’s identification, room condition,
etc.)
7. There should be nothing within arms-reach except for the computer, scratch paper,
and pencil (gadgets such as cellphone, calculator, etc. are prohibited)
8. The proctor will send via email the link to the exam (username and password)
9. Open the link and log in using the username and password sent in the email
10. Instructions for the exam proper shall be given by the proctor once you have logged
in
11. The entire LAQE will take you about 4 hours and 15 minutes.

Post Exam

1. The exam will be automatically submitted at the end of the time limit
2. Qualified examinees will be contacted by the registrar of the campus where they
applied

Please take note:

1. Any violation during the conduct of the exam could result to disqualification
Example:
a) Looking around
b) Using of gadgets and others not related to the exam
c) Talking with anybody
d) Cheating
2. Clarifications will only be entertained until July 29, 2022. You may send your
