What our counselors do

• Look after the emotional, social, and physical well-being of the children.
• Work several shifts throughout the day and in the evening:
• language teaching
• creativ workshops/sports
• evening activities
• lower intensity shifts like supervising during breaks and putting the
kids to bed

Required documents
1. Your resume/curriculum vitae
2. 3 character references (former employers, colleagues, professors,
teachers, and/or mentors)
3. For non-EU citizens: a photocopy of your German visa allowing you
to work and/or your work permit allowing you to work on a freelance basis
4. Criminal record clearance check. If you live in Germany, ths document is
called Erweitertes Führungszeugnis.

Further requirements and pay

• Participation in the camp counselor training (1–4 days depending on
language teaching experience)
• Certification in first aid
• Pay starts at 450/500€ per week for overnight camps and 375/425€
per week for day camps.

yes, I'm familiar with summer camps, I attended them several times when I was a child. It was one of
my most unforgettable and beautiful memories. I made a lot of friends and I still have contact with
some of them now. I learned many things which can't be given at school. I had a lot of fun.

3. Have you had any teaching experience? If so, please describe.

I have 2 years of experience as a tutor in my home country. I tutor bachelor's students after school in
mathematics, physic, and Chemistry. Here in Germany, I offered online courses for French Learners for
6 months.

4. Our team offers 90 minute activities to the kids in the afternoon. What activities could
you teach or lead in camp? Counselors often offer activities based on their own hobbies
and interests.

- Sport: Football, Volleyball, gymnastics, Water games

- Painting, Puzzle, Scrapbooking, Talent Show
- Picnic in the Park, Scavenger Hunt
