As a Marist student, how can we help in spreading Mental Health Awareness in our community?
Mental Health Awareness is important because it can make us feel comfortable
like we can live in a healthy lifestyle if we are free from those mental illness. Being aware is also a form of education. The more you learned, the more you have wisdom to gain and through that, you can have a power to prevent mental illness and raise mental awareness. And if you have knowledge about it, you cannot just benefit from it by just yourself only because you can also share what you’ve learned in your community.
As a Marist student, we can help in spreading Mental Health Awareness in our
community by talking to our family, friends, relatives or someone that we know about mental health illness. Of course, we as a student should have some knowledge about mental health illness and awareness so that we can able to share what we’ve learned with them on how they are going to prevent and cure it. We should encourage everyone in our community to participate in physical health activities that supports mental health. Since it is also one of the method to maintain the wellness of our mental health. We can create a symposium or simply make a webinar about mental health awareness that can provide them more knowledge and can able to understand the real meaning of it and that also they can able to know on how to prevent or avoid mental health illness. We can also encourage everyone in our community to follow the health protocols suggested by the professionals and the government especially this time of pandemic that we are facing now.
