In the year 1822, a group of young individuals, yourself included, has
sought approval to establish a new settlement on a distant Earth-like
land, unpopulated by humans. Authorities have granted permission,
contingent on your ability to demonstrate effective societal living. To
evaluate this, they pose several questions:

1. Will your settlement institute rules and laws? If so, who will ensure
compliance, and how will breaches be determined?

2. How will those adhering to rules be treated? What support

mechanisms will be in place for rectifying behavioral issues? Is there a
need for a system to aid non-compliance, or will consequences be the
primary recourse?

3. Are designated roles and responsibilities part of your community

plan? Who oversees organization, decision-making, and the
performance of routine, less creative tasks?

4. How do you intend to educate future generations about settlement

norms? Will they have the freedom to choose their life paths? If so, in
which areas (education, social connections, leisure, attire, etc.) will
autonomy be granted, and from what age?
It is the year 2222, and a group of young people, which is
you, has requested permission to establish a new society
on a planet similar to Earth but without humans. The
authorities have approved the project with the condition
that you demonstrate your ability to live in society. They
have asked you some questions to check this:

1. Will your society have rules and laws? Who will ensure
they are followed, and who will decide if they are broken?

2. What will happen to those who respect the rules? How

will they be helped to correct their behavior? Is it
considered necessary to have a system to support those
who do not follow the rules, or will there only be
punishments and sanctions?

3. Will there be assigned roles and responsibilities? Who

will be in charge of organization, decision-making, and
performing more routine and less creative tasks?

4. How will you educate the new generations in your

norms and customs? Will you allow them to choose their
own ways of life, and in what areas (studies, friendships,
leisure, clothing, etc.) will they have freedom of choice,
and from what age?
