Greetings from the United Nations Youth Association of the Philippines (UNYAP), a youth group under the
care of the United Nations Association of the Philippines (UNAP), a non-stock, non-profit voluntary
organization established in 1947 to help promote the ideals and objectives of the United Nations in the
Philippines.

In celebration of the International Youth Day (IYD), with this year’s international theme; “Safe Spaces for
Youth”, UNYAP will hold a youth conference on August 25, 2018 at the University of Makati, Makati City,
Philippines. It shall be a whole day of learning and discussion sessions of Violent Extremism, Harassment
and Bullying, Gender Sensitivity, Inclusive Environment for the youth with disability, and Youth Spirituality
and Values. We are expecting the Youth Ambassador Dingdong Dantes to deliver the keynote for the event.

In this regard, it is our pleasure to invite your Sangguniang Kabataan leaders, to join us in this celebration.
A registration fee of Five Hundred pesos (P500) will be collected to defray the expenses for food, seminar
kit, and other event expenses.
