INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study

With a minimum of five (5) paragraphs provide a discussion of the

background of the study to include the following core elements: Overview of the

Research Topic, Presentation of the Research Problem, Identify Research

Goals, Show the Research Significance, and State the Research Purpose.

Statement of the Problem

State the main purpose/question of the study.

Enumerate the specific research questions with a minimum of three

specific research questions.

Scope and Delimitations

Present the purpose for conducting the research (‘why’ entry).

Enumerate the scope and delimitation of the subject/focus of the study as

well as the specific variables (‘what’ entry).

Provide the scope and delimitation in terms of the ‘who’, ‘when’, ‘where’,

and ‘how’ of the research.

Significance of the Study

Identify the beneficiary of the study and the benefit they will specifically

get. Also discuss, how the beneficiary will use the benefit to address the research

problem. Apart from ‘future researchers’, determine three beneficiaries.

Definition of Terms

Identify at least three (3) terms and define these terms operationally and
conceptually.
