Currently there are 1 fire water pump system at New Magazine area and 1 system at Dome area.

Fire water system at New Magazine area consist of :

1. Fire water pump package : - electric pump, diesel pump and jockey pump
2. Fire water tank storage 2 unit @30kL supplied from old magazine area with flow +/- 30m3/h

Fire water system at Dome area consist of :

1. Fire water pump package : - electric pump, diesel pump and jockey pump
2. Fire water tank storage 2 unit @30kL supplied from water truck

We have designed to build proper fire water system refer to NFPA 20 standard. We divide it into 3
phases.

Phase 1

Water supply to fire water tank at Dome area with raw water from Daily tank 11kL at New Magazine
area only by gravity flow because of New Magazine area has higher elevation than Dome area to achieve
continuous flow and we install floating vale at fire water tank dome area to stop water supply if the tank
is full.

Phase 2

Install raw water tank 200kL at New Magazine and raw water distribution pump with flow 250 m3/h.

This pump will be installed close to 200kL raw water tank. The purpose of this installation is to supply
enough water for fire water pump at new magazine area and dome area to operate minimum 1 hour
non stop refer to NFPA 20 standard.

We will install 2 outlet at the 200 kL tank, 1 outlet at the lowest level of the tank to supply new raw
water distribution pump (fire water system purpose) and the other higher elevation outlet to supply
daily needs at New Magazine and/or Dome area by gravity flow.

Water supply from old magazine area will supply water to this 200 kL tank. We move the old line from
old magazine area to new magazine fire water tank to 200 kL tank. So the only supply to new magazine
fire water tank only from 200 kL tank.

Phase 3

Because of old magazine raw water pump flowrate only 30 m3/h and supply daily tank at New Magazine
as well, we need other water resource to supply 200 kL tank.

We design to take water supply for this 200 kL tank from Araren River Diversion and only 1 pump
required to be installed close to the river to supply only for this 200 kL tank with flowrate 30 m3/h.

So the water supply from old Magazine pump will be the backup if the water level at the Araren River
Diversion is lower than low level allowed.
