In the shadows of society, where dreams are crushed,
A silent epidemic persists, leaving hearts hushed.
Poverty, a relentless force, grips the land,
It's time to rise, unite, and take a stand.

In the slums where hope seems to decay,


Children with dreams, their laughter swept away.
Mothers and fathers, faces etched with pain,
Poverty's grip, a never-ending chain.

Listen to the symphony of despair,


Echoes of hunger fill the air.
Dreams deferred, like a melody unsung,
In the symphony of poverty, no one has won.

But amidst the darkness, a flicker of light,


Compassion and unity, the weapons to fight.
Reach out your hands, break the chains that bind,
For in shared humanity, true solutions we find.

Let education be the bridge to a brighter dawn,


Empower minds, and poverty will be gone.
Jobs and opportunities, the bricks we lay,
To build a future where all can have their say.
