MAKING SUGGESTIONS

*Use the following formulae to make suggestions:

2. YOU/WE CAN/COULD + VERB (INFINITIVE FORM)


Ex: We could meet this evening

3. HOW/WHAT ABOUT + VERB (-ING FORM)?


Ex: What about/How about staying at home?

4. SHALL WE + VERB (INFINITIVE FORM)?


Ex: Shall we revise the lesson?

5. LET´S + VERB (INFINITIVE FORM) /LET´S MAKE IT (DAY/TIME)


Ex: Let´s see this film tonight/ Let´s make it next Saturday

6. CAN WE MAKE IT (DAY/TIME)?


Ex: Can we make it a bit later?

7. SUBJECT + SUGGEST+ VERB (-ING FORM)


Ex: I suggest going for a beer
