For a magical wedding experience book at Diep in die Berg, a luxurious modern
wedding and function venue nestled on the slopes of the picturesque Bronberg
Mountain Range in Pretoria East, only minutes away from the N1 and N4 highway.

Our beautiful gardens with its tranquil water features are one of the many things
that make our wedding venue so charming. With over fifty indigenous trees,
beautiful sunsets over the mountain and indoor and outdoor fire places, our couples
can be sure that their most memorable moments will be captured in time.

Diep in die Berg has a soft elegant indoor Chapel for your wedding ceremony as well
as a beautiful modern reception venue, with lovely wrought iron chairs, that can
accommodate up to 230 guests with a dance floor. Our breath-taking gardens are
green throughout the year and can be reserved for an optional outdoor experience.

For over 16 years Diep in die Berg has treated and entertained many clients with a
team of well trained staff, professional wedding planners and qualified chefs who
will assist you with all your wedding needs.

Earliest setup times to be discussed with your Wedding Planner closer to the time
Sunday Weddings : Time of your choice for a maximum time period of 6 hours (from start of ceremony) for morning or
mid-morning Weddings, not exceeding 17h00 and 8 hours (from start of ceremony) for afternoon weddings, not
exceeding 22h00.

CEREMONY AND WELCOMING DRINKS IMPORTANT INFORMATION :


Ceremony Areas areas are not exclusive and are only available for 1 hour
In the case of a Wedding running late, for whatever reason, a 15 minute grace period will be allowed
Diep in die Berg reserves the right to move a ceremony to an available area or to a later time in the case of the area
being reserved for another event
Clients who have reserved their Ceremony time for 14h00 may decide to have their Cocktail Hour either in our Garden
or in the comfort of their own Banquet Court Yard.
Clients who have reserved their Ceremony time for 15h00 will only have their Private Court Yard available for their
Cocktail Hour

CUT OFF TIMES & ADDITIONAL OVERTIME CHARGES :


Diep in die Berg cannot be held liable for weather conditions with Outdoor Ceremonies
Your Ceremony will however be moved to an available indoor area or take place in your main reception hall, should
there be unexpected weather conditions
Depending on your package, the Dance Floor & Bar Closes no later than 00h00
Music to be dropped down to an acceptable level after 22h00
Diep in die Berg reserves the right to control the volume of the music during the function
Overtime for any event can be pre-authorised by your Events Planner, provided that the Venue has not been
booked for a later function. Overtime rate of R1600 will apply per hour.
Overtime charges must be paid in advance or at time of request if not paid in advance
No overtime will be allowed unless fully paid for upfront or upon arrangement. .07
CEREMONY
INDOOR CHAPEL :
Our beautiful and quaint Indoor Chapel is located against the Bronberg Mountain and surrounded by the
most breath-taking scenery. The venue is fully air-conditioned and comes with beautiful wrought iron chairs
and cushions. Your guests will be welcomed with refreshing Oasis filtered water with seasonal fruits (Chefs
Choice) before they are seated for the grand entrance. Rehearsals can be scheduled with your Wedding
Planner, depending on availability of the venue.

OUTDOOR CHAPEL :
Our breath-taking gardens and courtyards with
their tranquil water features are one of the many
things that make our venue so charming. With
over fifty indigenous trees, beautiful sunsets over
the mountain our couples can be sure that their
special “I DO” moment, will be an unforgettable
experience. Your guests will be welcomed with
refreshing Oasis filtered water with seasonal
fruits (Chef's Choice) before they are seated for
the grand entrance. Rehearsals can be

Our luxurious Banquet Reception Venue has a cosy en-suite lounge area with a fire place and an elegant fully
licensed bar with concertina doors that opens up in full, to ensure that your guests will be part of your experience
throughout the night. The view with its sunsets is exquisite and is one of the many things that make our venue so
charming. Our Banquet venue can take up to 230 guests comfortably with a dance floor and comes with beautiful
wrought iron chairs and cushions. All our venues are fully air-conditioned and no draping is needed in our venues.

VIP HALL : (MIN 50 - MAX 70 GUESTS)


Our beautifully secluded and quaint VIP Venue is located against the Bronberg Mountain and surrounded by the
most breath-taking scenery and picturesque sunsets. The venue is fully air-conditioned and can take up to 70
guests comfortably with a dance floor.

Please note that delays hinder the quality of the food,

PAYMENT PROCEDURES
To confirm and secure your booking a R10 000 booking fee is payable immediately (non-refundable)
In order to secure your booking, proof of payment must be provided using your Name & Wedding
Date as reference. Confirmation with your unique reference number will be sent via e-mail upon
receipt of proof of payment and your signed off contract which includes the general terms and
conditions
Your wedding date will only be secured upon receipt of the above and confirmed written confirmation
by Diep in die Berg
30 Days before event 50% of the seasonal package bill is payable (non-refundable)
Final numbers need to be confirmed 10 working days prior to event
All outstanding payments to be settled 7 working days before event (non-refundable)
Should an open bar limit be required, 100% of this limit is payable 7 working days before event
Diep in die Berg reserves the right to cancel the wedding should all outstanding amounts not be paid
timeously as indicated above
Diep in die Berg is a cashless venue. Should you wish to pay cash you are welcome to deposit it into
our bank account. Alternatively we do accept EFT, debit or credit card payments

RISK, LOSS OR CANCELLATIONS :


Due to the limited booking space available and the extensive
