Hi Everyone!

As today would have been our year end wrap up party it officially marks the end of the
2019/20 dance season. I am sure you are all feeling the same as I am…unfinished,
disappointed, sad etc. which is totally understandable. With that being said I still want to
congratulate you all on a fantastic season. We may not have gotten to showcase all of the
dancers hard work (yet!) but during this season we have still seen so many dancers
progress, work hard, have fun and meet some new milestones! As much as we are leaving
our season with heavy hearts we have still made some great memories throughout our 15th
season that I will cherish always…this is definitely a season we will never forget!

As I am sure everyone is aware with the new rule of no large gatherings this summer that it
does not look like August festivals will be possible at this point Of course things constantly
keep changing but as of now August festivals are unfortunately cancelled. We haven’t given
up all hope yet as we are still in talks with Arden Theatre and if the government lifts the ban
and it is safe to do so we are still looking into holding atleast one festival end of
Sept/beginning of October. Fingers crossed!!

But…if things are still not safe to run any festivals by October then I want you to know that
all of the festival entry fees you have paid this season (including Camrose fees) will be rolled
over to next festival season. We haven’t made a final decision on costumes yet as we are
hoping to re-use some (or all) of them next season if possible. So for now we ask that if you
are pre-registering to please only pay class fees for now until more decisions have been
made. *for those already pre-registered your account will be credited the entry fees.

Pre-registration has been extended to May 30th. We understand this is a tough time for all
so please know that you may split your payments into whatever works best for your family
financially. All pre-registered dancers will be put into the draw for the free class regardless
of the size of payment made. We are accepting pre-registrations by mail or email with
credit card, cheque or etransfer payments. Registration forms are available on our website

Again I want to thank you all so much for your amazing support, I have felt nothing but
loved and supported during these very stressful few weeks and that means the absolute
world to me. Our Illusion family is so strong and I know it will continue to be to the end.

I wish you all a safe, healthy and happy summer!!! I miss you all so much and I cannot wait
to see you all again in the fall!
