Aim: Design WAN as per the given scenario and get connectivity between all PCs.
Steps:
We can see that there are three VLANs created in network. So we have to
assign IP addresses to PCs according to their VLAN.
Here we can see that PC0 and PC1 are in VLAN 10. So according to heir
VLAN IP address 192.168.1.0, we have assigned IP address 192.168.1.3
to PC0 and 192.168.1.4 to PC1.

Likewise PC2 and PC3 are in VLAN 20. So according to heir VLAN IP
address 192.168.2.0, we have assigned IP address 192.168.2.3 to PC2 and
192.168.2.4 to PC3.

Here PC4 and PC5 are in VLAN 30. So according to heir VLAN IP
address 192.168.3.0, we have assigned IP address 192.168.3.3 to PC4 and
192.168.3.4 to PC5.

2. Configuring Router:
For configuring router, there are three components connected with router.
So we have to give 3 different IP addresses according to their networks.
First we have given IP address at Port g0/0 - 10.10.10.1 and mask is
255.255.255.252 given in scenario.
Second we have given IP address at Port g0/1 - 10.10.10.5 and mask is
255.255.255.252.
Third we have given IP address at Port g0/2 – 8.8.8.1 and mask
255.255.255.0.

5. Configuring Switches:
Switch 2 :
Likewise we have created VLAN 20 and VLAN 30 and added ports f0/1
and f0/2 of switch 2 into VLAN 20 and ports f0/1 and f0/2 of switch 3

6. Checking Connectivity:
Here we can see that we are getting connectivity from PC0 to all PCs
connected in different VLANs.

Conclusion:
After completing this experiment, I got to know many new things about L2 and L3
switches and what the difference between them is.

Layer 3, the network layer, is primarily responsible for the routing of data in
packets across logical internetwork paths.
Layer 2, the data link layer, contains the protocols that control the physical layer
(Layer 1) and how data is framed before being transmitted on the medium. The Layer 2
function of filtering and forwarding data in frames between two segments on a LAN is
known as bridging.
The Catalyst 4500 series switch supports two types of Layer 3 interfaces. The
logical Layer 3 VLAN interfaces integrate the functions of routing and bridging. The
physical Layer 3 interfaces allow the Catalyst 4500 series switch to be configured like a
traditional router. (source for configuration and commads : Software Configuration
