PRACTICAL NOTE

Venue

OSCE Regional Workshop to Address Technology-Facilitated Trafficking in Human Beings on


21-23 November 2023 will take place at the Conference room of SELEC at Palace of Parliament
of Romania at the address of 13 Septembrie Blvd, Bucharest. Please take ID card/passport all
three days with you in order to get personal access to the premises.

The representative from the Ministry of Interior of Romania, a co-organizer of the workshop,
will meet the participants at the hotel lobby at 08:15 in the morning on 21 and 22 November
and accompany to SELEC.

Language

The workshop will be held in English only.

Travel Arrangements

The OSCE will book and purchase the air tickets for workshop participants. Please let us know if
you haven’t yet received your tickets (if you’re traveling from abroad). The workshop participants
are kindly requested to keep the boarding passes and submit them by email to
altyngul.turaliyeva@osce.org. Please check-in for flights online ahead of time, as some airlines
may charge fees for check in at the airport.

The OSCE will provide Daily Subsistence Allowance (DSA) for dinner each day and Terminal
Allowance (TA) in addition to covering the costs for transport, accommodation and lunches
during the workshop. The DSA for dinner and TA will be provided after the workshop via bank
transfer, in the meantime participants will use own funds during their stay in Bucharest to cover
expenses such dinner and local transportation. Hotel will be paid by the OSCE directly.

Transportation to the visit to Cybercrime Programme Office and the Chancellor of the Prime
Minister of Romania on 23 November is organized with ministry vehicles which pick up the
foreign participants from hotel at 08:30 in the morning.

Hotel and accommodation

The workshop participants will be staying at the Parliament Hotel Bucharest (parliament-hotel.ro)
– located on 106 Izvor Street, District 5, Bucharest. The check in time is 15.00 and check out is
12:00. Breakfast is included. The OSCE will cover only the room and breakfast costs. Other type
of expenses, such as in-room service, business center services, late check-out etc. will not be
covered by the OSCE.

To get from the Bucharest airport to the hotel– you can take either public transportation or taxi.

It only takes about 10 minutes by foot from the hotel to the conference venue. Please note that you
will be accompanied to the venue.

Catering during the workshop

Lunches and coffee-breaks will be provided during the workshop on 21 and 22 November 2023.
Lunch on 23 November will be organized at the restaurant of the Ministry of Interior of Romania.
A networking reception will take place at the workshop venue on 22 November 2023.

Medical Insurance

Participants must have a medical insurance for the full duration of the intended stay. It is the
participants’ responsibility to make arrangements for medical insurance.
