❖ No rolling carts, no strollers, no children under 10 years old are permitted in the sale;
Young infants must be safely secured to their mothers.
Our huge “FREE Resources” area will open at 7:15 am
Gleaning Room with donated materials will be open Monday, 5/20 from 10am-12noon

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY!
We need over 130 adult volunteers plus their youth for a successful sale! In order to shop
early for your own personal items on Friday afternoon at 1:30, please volunteer to help
with the Sale! Sign up at http://schoolbooksale.weebly.com under “More/Volunteer”
• Volunteers are required to set-up either Thurs. 5/16 OR Fri. 5/17 AND ALL MUST WORK Sat. 5/18 for the Sale.
• Set-up either Thurs. 4:00-8:00 pm OR Fri. 8:00 am-1:00pm (all volunteers shop at 1:30 after set-up is complete)
• ALL volunteers must work on Sat. 5/18 from 7:00 am – 4:30 pm (may leave earlier, if teardown is complete)
• Carry & sort books; assist customers in finding resources. Bring your own snacks, meals and drinks.
• Volunteers benefit by shopping after setup on Friday (but may not set aside items during setup) and gleaning
first after seller pickup, donations, and cleanup are complete and Gleaning Room is set up.
• NO childcare will be provided during volunteer shifts; other off-site arrangements must be made.
• Volunteer Youth: Responsible, diligent youth workers ages 13 and older who are volunteering with their parent
may earn high school community service hours (bring form for us to sign). Youth are expected to assist with
setup and teardown, and show initiative in assisting customers during the Sale.
