1.Identify first the form of the event or case.
Among the two video I choose the first one that is animated. For this scene the form of the event
or case is more on recreational and educational. I said that it is recreational because it gives
entertainment to the viewers and educational it is because it gives moral lesson to the person who
watch the video. Although it is only animated but the impact of the lesson and the content was
very unique and have a deep meaning. As I watch this scene I learned a lot and I also appreciate
how the video was created. The content and the event used in the presentation were very
organized. The video has vibrant visuals, uses trendy graphics and transitions making it visually
appealing.
2. Identify the substance of the event or case.
As I watch the short-animated video the main theme is “Sometimes there are things needed to let
go”. In the first clip the scenario is in the field wherein there are two men that is arguing and
competing to get the rabbit, they make a lot of efforts just to make sure that the rabbit will go to
them. But at the end they did not success to get the rabbit. It is because they did not benefit to the
rabbit but the eagle. In this scenario no matter how, we do our best or effort there are times that it
is still not enough and we must learn to let go things. The second clip the scenario is in the
clouds wherein the girl was happy playing with the clouds although her mother told to her to let
the clouds to let go and to create a rain. After she know that the clouds will be disappear she got
selfish she tries to let go all the clouds but at the end she didn’t know what is the consequences
that may happened.
3.Evaluate the event or case in “Form over Substance” Evaluation.
The “Form over Substance” of the scenario one reflects the true nature. It can be also in reality
scenario, it can happen to the other people wherein some of us really experience it. For example,
there are times that we experience this scenario especially if we value things or it is very
important to us that sometimes it really hard for us to let go things. It is a recreational that gives
entertainment and moral lessons to the viewers. and those contexts of the form have a strong
connection to the substance which is it happened in a reality. Also, the animated persons can be
also connected in the reality on how they act and response.
4.Evaluate the event or case in “Substance over form” evaluation.
The “Substance over Form” of the scenario is it have meaningful content. Wherein the substance
of the scenario is to give a moral lesson to the viewers and it have a meaningful purpose that can
be happened in any kind of event or place. The substance brings a good impact to the form of the
scenario that makes it unique and interesting to watch. That will make the viewers to think,
analyze the content. And the substance makes the surface of the form in details that capture the
true nature of the event.
Conclusion:
Therefore, I conclude that the Form and the substance of the scenario I choose is they are
connected to each other that makes the content of the short-animated video more unique and
interesting. And although it is only animated but with the combination of Form and Substance it
makes more realistic. The main theme of the scenario is “Sometimes there are things to let go”
this can be also happened to the real world. As I watch the video it makes me enjoy and to be
interested to the video. Although it is a short-animated video it can be seen the form and the
substance connection with each other. It is well-executed event harmonizes those aspects,
ensuring that the outward appearance aligns with the underlying content. The Form and
Substance provides meaningful core and purpose. Through evaluation both dimensions is
essential for a comprehensive understanding and successful execution of this scenario or events.
