ABSTRACT

Title: Risks Management Activities for Communicable Diseases done by

Radiologic Technologists in Specialists Group and Trauma Center.

Researchers: Gubatan, Camille T. and Cruz, Leila S.

College of Radiology Technology

Lyceum-Northwestern University
Tapuac District, Dagupan City.

This research was aimed to study the Risks Management Activities for
Communicable Diseases done by Radiologic Technologists in Specialists Group
and Trauma Center. The researchers used survey questionnaire for the
gathering of relevant data, facts and information using the descriptive method.
The tabulated results was parted into two main parts: the profile of the
respondents and the main questions regarding Risks Management Activities for
Communicable Diseases done by Radiologic Technologists in Specialists Group
and Trauma Center.

As to the findings of the researchers, the top three (3) facility designs that
helps in the prevention of communicable diseases outbreaks are appropriate
cleaning practices, adequate floor spaces for radiologic equipment, and
adequate safe water supply.

As to the findings of the researchers, the most common communicable

diseases of patients that undergoes radiologic examination is tuberculosis.
