ABSTRACT

Development of the Approach in Radiologic Science Subject for Radiologic Technology

Board Examination.

Cayetano, J.D., Fontanilla, J., and Florendo,R., College of Radiology Technology,

Lyceum-Northwestern University, Tapuac District, Dagupan City.

This research was conducted to study the Development of the Approach in

Radiologic Science Subject for Radiologic Technology Board Examination. The
researchers used the descriptive method of research in which they utilize the survey-
questionnaire as the main instrument for data gathering with these specific questions:
First, the profile of the respondents. Second, the main problems about the Development
of the Approach in Radiologic Science Subject for Radiologic Technology Board
Examination Based from the results of the data, the most common radiation effects is its
relativity to the infertility of men and women who are frequently in access to radiation.
As to the findings of the researchers, the board examination results in the year
2014, more examinees failed compared to those who passed. For 2015, the same
conclusion about the results can be derived, there is a significant amount of takers who
failed than those who had passed the annual board examination. For the year 2016, the
results of Radiologic Technology annual Board Examination is depicted to have the
same general conclusion.

As to the findings of the study, the main cause of failure in radiologic sciences
subject is the lack of focus of the board examination takers in the latter.

As to the results of the study, adding more practical examination for students can
be the main course of actions to improve the learnings of students in Radiologic
Sciences subjects.
