LESSON 1

This lesson taught me about information and communication technologies, as well as

how to find, save, send, and edit information using various communication methods such as
telecommunications and mobile phone technologies.

I also learned about the three types of web. First, there was web1.0, which was mostly static
and could not be manipulated by the user. The dynamic web, Web 2.0, was invented as an
evolution of web 1.0; the majority of websites we visit today are from Web 2.0. The most
recent web to be created is the Semantic web, also known as Web 3.0, which is a movement
led by the Worldwide Web Consortium (W3C).

I also learned about the four ICT trends. The first is convergence, which is a synergy
of technological advancements working on a similar goal or task. The next trend is social
media, which is a website, application, or online channel that allows for user interaction. The
following trend is mobile technologies, with the popularity of smartphones and tablets
skyrocketing in recent years. Finally, there is Assistive Media, a non-profit organization
dedicated to assisting people with disabilities.

LESSON 2
This lesson taught me about netiquette rules. Netiquette is also defined as a set of
rules for polite communication in an online environment. Netiquette also serves the purpose
of assisting in the creation and maintenance of a pleasant, comfortable, and efficient
environment for online communication, as well as avoiding conflicts among users.

This lesson also covered various threats or viruses that may occur while browsing the
internet, and we all know that there is a solution for every problem, and Netiqutte is the
solution because it teaches you how to avoid certain viruses or threats.

In conclusion, I learned a lot about the internet's do's and don'ts in this topic because
it poses a significant threat to my computer.

LESSON 3
This lesson taught me about Advanced Word Processing Skills. It explains what mail
merge is and how important or useful it can be. Form Document and List or Data File are
two other components of mail merge.

This lesson also covers Label Generation, which generates a blank form document.
And by integrating images and external materials, you can use six different types of
materials: pictures, clip art, shapes, smart art, charts, and screenshots.

In conclusion, this lesson has taught me how to make things easier when creating
documents, a simple step that will save me a lot of time.

LESSON 4
This lesson taught me about advanced spreadsheet skills, as well as what Microsoft
Excel is and how to save time and effort when creating documents with it. A Microsoft Excel
spreadsheet also allows for the automated display of any statistical data.

Microsoft Excel also includes a number of arithmetic and basic functions to help you
compute more quickly. It also includes basic formulas for computing a number, such as
Addition (+), Subtraction (-), Multiplication (*), and Division (/). It also goes over range,
which refers to the cells in which you want to look for the criteria. Criteria are values or
labels that indicate whether a cell is part of the range to be averaged. And the average Range
specifies the actual range of cells to be averaged; if not specified, the range will be used.

Finally, this lesson taught me how to save time and effort when creating a document
in Microsoft Excel.

LESSON 5
This lesson taught me about Advanced Presentation Skills, including how to use
hyperlinks to improve PowerPoint presentations and embed objects in Microsoft
PowerPoint to insert an excel file.

Hyperlinks also has a list of options, such as linking to another web page, linking to
other slides, creating a new document, and linking to an email address to maximize time.

Finally, this topic taught me how to use PowerPoint presentations as an effective

visual aid tool.

LESSON 6
This lesson taught me about imaging and design for the online environment.
Balance, Emphasis, Movement, Pattern, Proportion, Variety, and Pattern, Repetition, and
Rhythm are the basic principles of graphics and layout that I learned in this lesson.

This lesson also taught me about infographics, which are graphical representations of
information, statistical data, or knowledge. It also goes over the basic principles and
techniques of image manipulation. This also includes a tip for editing images for your
website: first, choose the right file format, then the right image size, and finally, caption it.

Finally, this lesson basically taught me how to understand the ideas on how to get
the viewer's attention on what you're making.

LESSON 7
This lesson taught me about online platforms and the creation of ICT content. This
lesson taught me about two types of online content development platforms. To begin, social
media platforms are websites that allow you to create pages and groups with which to share
content. The other type is blogging platforms, which look like newsletters and allow you to
customize the design to your liking.

This lesson also taught me about content management systems, which are computer
applications (sometimes online or browser-based) that allow you to publish, edit, and
manipulate web content, as well as organize and delete it.

Finally, this lesson taught me how to improve my knowledge of cloud computing

and how to manage or create my own blog or sites.

LESSON 8
This lesson taught me how to create a basic web page. This lesson also taught me
how to use Microsoft Word to create a website. This lesson also taught me about WYSISYG,
which stands for What You See Is What You Get and means that whatever you type, insert,
draw, place, rearrange, and do on a page is what the viewer sees.

Finally, this lesson taught me how to create a website with a free host, design a
website with an online platform, and edit and insert elements for their website.

LESSON 9
I learned about collaborative ICT development in this lesson. I learned about web
portals and online collaborative tools in this lesson. A web portal is a website that collects
information from various sources and organizes it in a consistent manner. And an online
collaborative tool is one that can assist your group in "going the distance" and working as if
you have your own office.

Finally, this lesson taught me how to understand the benefits of using online
collaborative tools and how to effectively monitor group tasks using online collaborative
tools.

LESSON 10
This lesson taught me about interactive multimedia. This lesson introduced me to the
seven types of multimedia content: videos, sound, music, or audio, online games, online
tests, courseware, podcasts, and vodcasts. This lesson also taught me how to embed
YouTube videos into my blog posts.

In conclusion, this lesson has taught me how to improve a website's interactivity and
how to create a viewer-friendly experience for those who may visit my website through
multimedia content.

LESSON 11
This lesson taught me about ICT as a platform for change. This lesson taught me
about ICT as a tool for social change, and how it has improved communication when
Filipinos have needed it the most. It also introduced me to change.org, a change-making
platform where anyone in the online community can start a petition and ask others to sign it.

Finally, this lesson has taught me the importance of ICT as a platform for social
change, as well as how to use prior ICT knowledge when planning a campaign.

LESSON 12
This lesson taught me about social change projects. This lesson also taught me about
a concept paper, which is a document used to persuade a panel of potential funders to assist
in the development of a product, program, or service. A concept paper also has five
components: an introduction, a purpose, a description, support, and contact information.

This lesson also taught me about the ICT project processes of planning, development,
release, and promotion, as well as maintenance.

Finally, this lesson taught me how to plan and conceptualize an ICT project, as well
as identify platforms that will aid in the campaign's success.

LESSON 13
I learned about ICT project publication and statistics in this lesson. This lesson taught
me that in the business world, companies would use site statistics to determine how popular
their website is and when it receives the most traffic. This allows their new content to reach a
larger audience. There are also monitoring site statistics on various platforms such as
WordPress, Facebook, and so on. This lesson also covered Demographics, which are
statistics that characterize the human population and are usually divided by age, gender,
income, location, and language.

Finally, this lesson taught me how to upload the necessary files for a website and
how to understand the key factors that will determine the success of a website.

LESSON 14
This lesson taught me about ICT project maintenance. This lesson taught me how to
analyze the results of Google Forms. This has taught me how to use user feedback to assess
the effectiveness of an online campaign.

Finally, this lesson taught me how to improve an online campaign by utilizing

various tools and assessing the effectiveness of their online campaign.

LESSON 15
This lesson taught me about the drawbacks of ICT. This lesson also taught me about
cybercrime, which are illegal acts committed using the internet. Phishing/spoofing,
blackmail/extortion, accessing stored communications, sports betting, non-delivery of
merchandise, electronic harassment, child pornography, drug trafficking, and criminal
copyright infringement are also common internet cybercrimes.

And because every problem has a solution, I also learned about how to combat
cybercrime in this lesson, which included network security, investigation, and penalties.

Finally, I learned that there are various disadvantages in ICT that can be very
harmful to your computer and to yourself, as well as various ways to combat them.

GENERAL REFLECTION
In the modern world, one of the most popular things is technology. Technology now
controls every aspect of our lives, including our own bodies and the activities we once
engaged in. We became more dependent on social media, which aided in both our creation
and destruction. Cyberbullying is a serious issue that modern youth must deal with.
Students are nearly always glued to their screens, which is causing a whole new set of social
issues and making them forget about school and their education because they are so focused
on the internet. This harassment also spills over into the classroom. As technology has
become more prevalent in classrooms, teachers now have more options for empowering
student learning. The purpose of modern education is to empower students through the use
of technology in order to help them take ownership of and responsibility for their education.

Empowerment technology is a great idea for people like me who want to learn more,
understand more, and interact with others. It is very practical to use technology in education
because it is convenient, easy to use, and provides information more quickly. As a student, I
find that using technology helps me learn more efficiently, and empowerment technology
shows us how to use it sensibly and with good intentions.

Education is used to achieve this. In order to better understand ICT, or information

and communication technology, I've learned a lot about empowerment technology. The
World Wide Web, the internet, static and dynamic web pages, key features, the semantic
web, a number of Web 3.0 issues, mobile technologies, trends in ICT, mobile OS, how to stay
safe online, six different types of social media, internet threats, and many more were among
the topics we tackled and learned about. These lessons assist the millennial generation,
including myself, in becoming responsible enough to use technology as a tool for education.

Technology makes it possible for people to interact and communicate in novel ways
with fewer formal rules. Students are much more engaged and active in the classroom, and
teachers play a much larger role as facilitators than simply information providers.
