LEAVE RESTRICTION: JANUARY 5 THROUGH JANUARY 7, 2021

From Tuesday, January 5, 2020 through Thursday, January 7, 2021, First Amendment activities are expected to take
place in the District of Columbia. In light of the necessary crowd management resources needed for these activities,
the following policies regarding leave and scheduling will be in effect for the dates and times listed. The following
applies to all full duty sworn and essential civilian members:

• Each command shall allow no more than 5% of their members to have leave from 0001 hours on Tuesday,
January 5, 2021, until 2359 hours on Thursday, January 7, 2021.

• The Optional Sick Leave Privileges will be suspended effective from 0001 hours on Saturday, January 2, 2021,
until 2359 hours on Thursday, January 7, 2021.

• No member shall be scheduled for day off on Tuesday, January 5 or Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

Specific assignments will be published at a later date via teletype.
