Aims and Objectives
The aim of this week’s lab was to complete the module four review assignment and case
problem 1 of the Excel book and practice the different features that are found in module
four. Module four focuses on analyzing, charting, and presenting data. This report is
intended to explain this lab, specifically with details about the tasks.

Lab Achievements
In this lab, I was able to achieve and implement all the tasks successfully. The tasks of this
lab helped me to practice several features within Microsoft Excel, such as using the PMT
financial function, which is used to calculate payments left to complete a loan, creating
different types of charts, manipulating chart elements, creating sparklines and data bars,
and working with gridlines and axes of charts.

Self-Learning
After completing the lab tasks in this lab, I was able to explore the internet to better
understand Excel charts. I found that when dealing with large amounts of data, it is better to
use dynamic tables to ensure automatic updates are applied to the charts. This saves time
and energy. Moreover, using 3D effects might not be a good idea because it may distort
data. 2D charts are more simplistic, which makes them better for reading ( Bannett, 2023, May
24).

Conclusion
As a result, the module 4 review assignment and case problem number one in Excel were
done successfully during this lab. I got the opportunity to practice Excel features like
configuring chart elements, implementing data bars, using financial functions, and
manipulating chart gridlines and axes.

Feedback
By completing this lab, we are done with all the work that is related to Microsoft Excel. Now
I can say that I understand Excel better.
