To our beloved guests, school administrator, principal, teachers, and most

importantly the class of 2023 a wonderful day to all! Today we celebrate a

momentous event in our lives- Our graduation day! Graduating in elementary is
a sign that our childhood has ended, and it is a beginning of a new chapter in
our lives. 9 years ago, I started my journey here at our beloved school, those 9
years were tough, rough but joyous. At a tender young age of 4, I was a finalist
for the national Contest for declamation and placed 3rd in the National Level. I
continued my journey not only in the field of declamation but in academics such
as in Science, Reading Comprehension and many more. And these contests
pushed me to be better and to be one of the best. But all these contests and
socializations came to a halt when the Covid-19 pandemic happened, yet it did
not hinder my abilities to learn and to explore new areas of my talents.

It was always my dream to graduate at the top of my class and now I am here
delivering this speech. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to our
School for helping me fulfill these dreams and for molding me to be better. I
would also like to thank Tr. Velle our principal for being with me every step of
the way and believing in me. To all my advisers, especially our beloved adviser
in grade 6 Tr. Dorina for pushing me to be better and giving me guidance. And
to all my Subject teachers for having faith in me. I would also like to thank the
people who made my school life fun and joyous such as my bestfriends such as
Zam, Shania, Janiyah, Chrizallen, Precious and my close friend Ate Xianne.

I wouldn’t have made it this far without the support of my family. I thank my
mother and Father for their everlasting love, support and for holding me up
high. I would also like to thank my daddy bossing and mommy Han for giving
me emotional support and letting me use their car. I always thank my Lolo
Nelson for cooking food for me. And I thank my forever loving Grandma for
guiding me and for being my prayer warrior. Lastly, I thank God for giving me
this blessing of being able to graduate at the top of my class and being able to
say that “I graduated here with honor and dignity”. Remember that this is only
the first part of the real fight. The hardships that we experienced in our
elementary life will only strengthen us and help us through our high school life.
As I end this speech, I would like to leave you with a quote from the one and
only Taylor Swift- “I gave my blood, sweat, and tears for this”. And I also gave
my blood, sweat and tears just to achieve all of this. Thank you!
