“The First Day” is a lesson about giving personal information, talking about school, subjects
and teachers using Wh- questions.

7) Learning Activities
1.Warm up (5 Minutes)
- Students open the textbook to page 2. The students take a look at the picture, and teacher
ask them about the picture with Wh- questions.
Example Who are the people?
Where are they?
What are they doing?
2. Presentation (20 Minutes)
- The teacher gives students the sheets about Wh-question for asking information.
- The teacher presents Wh-questions for asking information though slide presentation. After
that, students pronounce them.
- The teacher asks students to pair up and ask each other using Wh-questions that teacher has
just taught.
3. Practice (20 Minutes)
- Students do worksheet 1 Asking Information. Complete the questions. Use What, Who, or
Where. Then match each question with the correct answer.
4. Warp up (5 Minutes)
- The students and the teacher summarize the learning content together.
