CHANGE OF VENUE AND SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES FOR THE 2024 DSPC

1. The field is hereby informed of the change of venue, and schedule of activities
during the 2024 DSPC.

2. The following are the changes:

a. Radio Broadcasting and Scriptwriting (Elementary and Secondary,

English & Filipino) will be at CDO National High, Junior High School
Campus

b. Actual games and sports viewing by the Sports writing contestants

both Elementary and Secondary, English & Filipino, will be at CDO -
National High School Senior High Campus, and the Sports writing
activity will follow in the same venue. All Sports writing facilitators
must be at the venue. No coach or parent is allowed inside the venue.

c. All participants MUST join the opening program at the CDO-NHS-

Junior High. A Mini-press conference will follow after the opening
program to be attended by Radio Broadcasting, TV Broadcasting,
Online Publishing, and Collaborative & Desktop Publishing
participants in both English & Filipino.

d. The photojournalism contest for both Elementary & Secondary,

English and Filipino, will be on January 19, 2024, from 7:30 to 8:30

 a.m. All photojournalism facilitators shall be around before the
contest proper.

e. Distribution of SD cards for Photojournalism will be before the

contest starts by the assigned facilitators.

4. All facilitators must wear the Matatag Blue shirt for day 1 and Matatag green for
day 2.

5. Participants are reminded to wear their school uniforms and IDs, and bring
their signed parent’s consent. Collaborative & Desktop Publishing, TV
Broadcasting, and Radio Broadcasting participants must wear white polo shirts.
Absolutely no short pants are allowed during the contest period.

6. Mobile Journalism is still not part of the contest but will be held in a concurrent
session as an exhibition to be led by the trained Gusa Regional Science High
School and attended by the official delegates (5 journalists and a school paper
adviser).

7. The decision of the Board of Judges is FINAL and IRREVOCABLE.

8. Laptop checking, and SD checking in-charge shall help in the tabulation and
certificates committee after they are done with their tasks.

10. All other provisions of the previous corrigendum shall remain.
