1. Greet participants as they join the lesson and make chit chat.
BEFORE WATCHING
2. Intro topic – Ss must answer what comes to their mind when they hear the word FAME.
The teacher can create a spidergram in the ppt slide to brainstorm as many ideas as
possible.
3. Language focus
Pre-teach vocab from video
Ss must match the underlined words with their meaning.
4. Prediction: slide announcing today’s video; predict what information they think it will
contain
5. Before WATCHING: Ss discuss some questions about being famous.
6. Ss are told they will watch a video about celebrities speaking about fame. Ss need to
predict what the celebrities might say.
7. AFTER WATCHING: Ss discuss 3 questions connected to the video.
8. Ss rewatch the video and and they need to match the sentences from the slide with the
correct celebrities.
9. THINK CRITICALLY- discussion about video
Ss answers several questions in the main session and then some other questions in pairs in
BR rooms. They must remember if their partner(S) shared any interesting information.
10. Flexi-stage - collaborative task—if needed
In pairs ss will work in br rooms. They need to select a famous person and describe her/him
by mentioning some accomplishments/ how that person influenced the world. Then, in the
main session, Ss will take turn presenting that famous person and the other pairs need to
guess.
