Purpose of research was to determine the effect of directive leadership style, work
environment and work motivation on employee performance.
research is classified as a causal research. Population and sample were head of service unit
and employees of RSB Paradise as amount as 72 people. Data were collected using
questionnaire to head of service unit and employees and the instrument has been tested for
validity and reliability. Data analysis used multiple regression preceded by prerequisite tests.
Results show that hypothesis is accepted, its mean directive leadership style effects on
employee performance. Work environment effects on employee performance. Work
motivation effects on employee performance.
As conclusion, there is an effect of directive leadership style, work environment and
motivation on employee performance. As suggestion for RSB management to increase the
leader role in each head of service unit and also improve the quality of a comfortable work
environment and facilities to support the duties of medical and non-medical.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan direktif, lingkungan
kerja serta motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan.
Jenis penelitian tergolong dalam penelitian kausal. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah
kepala unit layanan dan karyawan RSB Paradise sebanyak 72 orang. Data dikumpulkan
dengan menggunakan kuesioner kepada kepala unit dan karyawan dan telah dilakukan uji
validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen. Analisis data menggunakan regresi berganda yang
didahului dengan uji prasyarat.
Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa hipotesis diterima yaitu terdapat pengaruh gaya
kepemimpinan direktif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap
kinerja karyawan. Motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan.
Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan direktif,
lingkungan kerja serta motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Saran bagi manajemen RSB
adalah untuk meningkatkan peran pimpinan masing-masing kepala unit layanan serta
meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan kerja yang nyaman dan fasilitas mendukung tugas tenaga
medis dan non medis.
