The Major Objective of the Article
The major objective of the article is to determine and analyze the role of organizational
commitment, leadership behavior, and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on
performance in education personnel staff, with a focus on the mediating role of OCB in the
relationship between organizational commitment and leadership behavior on performance.
The paper also discusses the theory of organizational commitment, which refers to an
individual's psychological attachment to the organization. It is found to have a positive and
significant role in organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and performance.
Additionally, the paper explores the theory of leadership behavior, which has a direct impact on
OCB and performance. Leadership behavior is found to influence OCB and subsequently affect
performance.
The comparison between these theories reveals that organizational commitment, leadership
behavior, and OCB all play significant roles in influencing performance. Organizational
commitment and leadership behavior have direct effects on OCB, which in turn positively
impacts performance.

The validity of these reasons can be assessed based on the research methodology and findings
presented in the paper. The study uses a quantitative approach and collects data through a
questionnaire, which adds credibility to the findings. The significant and positive relationships
found between the variables indicate that the theories are valid in the context of the study.
It is important to note that the paper does not explicitly mention any reasons for rejecting the
theories discussed.
Therefore, it can be inferred that the findings support the theories rather than rejecting them.
The Conclusions of the Article align well with the Findings of the Study
The study found that organizational commitment has a positive and significant role in
organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and performance. This aligns with the conclusion that
organizational commitment plays a good role in OCB and performance.
The study also found that leadership behavior has a direct impact on OCB and performance,
which is consistent with the conclusion that leadership behavior has a direct impact on OCB and
performance.
Additionally, the study found that OCB has a positive and significant effect on performance and
mediates the influence between organizational commitment and performance, as well as between
leadership behavior and performance. This aligns with the conclusion that OCB acts as a
mediator for the effect of organizational commitment and leadership behavior on performance.
Overall, the conclusions of the article align with the findings of the study, providing support for
the role of organizational commitment, leadership behavior, and OCB in influencing
performance.

It explores the relationship between these variables and their impact on performance, providing
insights into how they can be managed and enhanced to improve performance in educational
institutions.
The study highlights the positive and significant impact of organizational commitment on OCB
and performance, the direct influence of leadership behavior on OCB and performance, and the
mediating role of OCB in the relationship between organizational commitment and performance.
This research is relevant to the overall topic of organizational behavior and leadership as it
examines the factors that influence performance in education personnel staff, including the role
of organizational commitment and leadership behavior.
The research uses a quantitative approach and collects data through a questionnaire, ensuring a
systematic and structured analysis.
The findings of the study reveal the positive and significant impact of organizational
commitment on OCB and performance, the direct influence of leadership behavior on OCB and
performance, and the mediating role of OCB in the relationship between organizational
commitment and performance.
The research contributes to the field by examining these relationships specifically in the context
of religious-based higher education institutions, providing insights that can be applied in similar
settings.

Weaknesses of the Paper
The study acknowledges two limitations. First, the use of cross-sectional data limits the ability to
establish causal relationships and control for organizational changes over time. Future research
using time series data is recommended for stronger generalization of findings.
The study also recognizes that the direct influence of the independent variables on performance
is still largely influenced by other factors outside the model being developed. This limitation
suggests the need for further research to include additional indicators or variables to strengthen
the relationship.
