3.Ministry Updates:

a. PREX
A reunion is scheduled for the 2nd week of January.

b. Education Ministry
- Fr Jek recommended that there be a parish Faith Formation (Doctrinal) once a
month after the 6 pm mass on a Saturday.
- This can be launched on Jan 22, as we celebrate the Sunday of the Word of God.
- We can begin with a discussion of the Apostles Creed (by phrase).

c. SSDM
- Monthly meetings for the YSLEP are held every 2nd Sunday of the month at 1 pm
- Fr Jek encouraged having livelihood and training programs. We can ask help from
the TESDA Women’s Desk, headed by Ms Angie Gonzales. We can look into
training for lady plumbers, welders, etc

d. Temporalities
- On March 25, 2023, we shall be celebrating out 29th anniversary as a parish. On
March 27, we shall be celebrating the anniversary of our Church Dedication. Fr
Baybay will also be celebrating his 60th Sacerdotal Anniversary.
- The ministry will hold a raffle from January to February to help fund the March
activities.
- Fund raising projects shall be launched in preparation for the 30th year anniversary of
our parish.

e. Youth Ministry
- They will prepare activities for the Feast of Sto Nino.
- They will continue to have their monthly gathering during the Praise and Worship
activity every last Saturday of the month.

f. Family and Life Ministry


- They will continue to support the regular formation programs of the Archdiocese
Family and Life Ministry, and share with the parish these programs.
- Together with the Praise and Worship Ministry (headed by Dr Boogie Manzano), they
will come up with the topics for 2023.
- Fr Jek recommended that the ministry include programs for Father’s Day, Mother’s
Day and Grandparent’s Day.

g. Health and Wellness Minstry


- Members have gone back to their other ministries.
- This shall be re-named Health Care Ministry, to minister to the sick persons within
the parish.

h. Others:

1. Home Visitations
-can come up with a program for random visits to the Catholic sick and elderly who
are not able to physically come to church
-initial visit by the priest, then followed by regular visits by the Lay Ministers

2. Block rosary
- This can be done by barangay, with a barangay street mass either before or after the
block rosary.
