ABSTRACT

This research aims to examine the impacts of DepEd Order No. 49, Series

of 2022, on the teachers of San Jose City National High School-Senior High

School. The selected participants are teachers from the 11th and 12th grades of

the mentioned school, chosen through purposive sampling. The research follows

a descriptive-correlational design (Calderon, 2007). Survey questionnaires were

utilized to determine if teachers strongly affirm positive social media interaction,

indicating meaningful communication with their students, if they strongly endorse

alternative communication methods, especially the use of messenger apps, and

if they express strong agreement regarding the effectiveness of communication.

The teachers' perspectives were gathered using a Likert scale of 1-4 to

assess the potential impact of DepEd Order No. 49, Series of 2022, on School

Teachers' Social Media Interaction, Alternative Communication Channels, and

Effectiveness of Communication as independent variables. The mean was

employed for data interpretation.

The research reveals that teachers overwhelmingly agree that DepEd

Order No. 49, Series of 2022, has a significant impact on Social Media

Interaction, Alternative Communication Channels, and Effectiveness of

Communication.
