Instruction: Under this project the candidate is expected to Operate a Database

Application by performing the following seven tasks based on the
information provided:-

Task 1: Create a database

Instruction: Under this task the candidate is expected to create a database called
VehicleOwners.

Task 2: Create tables

Instruction: Under this task the candidate is expected to create the following tables

Instruction: Under this task the candidate is expected to record data using the form
created in task four insert the following data into the tables.

Task 6: Use queries.

Instruction: Under this task the candidate is expected to perform the following activities

purchased after 2003.

 Update the Purchase Date of the vehicle with OID JM-0011 to 08/03/2005.

 Delete the vehicle with VID value of T-8901.

Task 7: Create report.

Instruction: Under this task the candidate is expected to create a report for the select
query created in Task Six (6).

Project 2: Access information from the internet

Time allotted for this project: 0: 30 minutes

Instruction: Under this project the candidate is expected to Configure and access
Internet by performing the following two tasks based on the information
 provided:-

Task 1: Download resources and install software

Instruction: Under this task the candidate is expected to perform the following activities
based on the information provided:-

 Download and Install ILIVID you tube downloader software

 Download a PDF file called “Introduction to Database”

Task 2: Search information and configure the browser

Instruction: Under this task the candidate is expected to perform the following activities
based on the information provided:-

 Search the color coding for crossover network cabling

 Open and bookmark Ministry of Education website
 Make www.FileHippo.com as the home page of your browser

Project 3: Configure Local Area Network /LAN/

Time allotted for this project: 1:00 Hour

Instruction: Under this project the candidate is expected to configure a Local Area
Network /LAN/ by performing the following two tasks based on the
information provided

Task 1: Build a local area network

Instruction: Under this task the candidate is expected to performing the following
activities based on the information provided
 Get ready the given network cable in the correct cabling type
 Join the two computers using switch
 Configure the two computers so as to communicate each other
 Check the computers are connected using network command utilities

Task 2: Share resources on the network

Instruction: Under this task the candidate is expected to performing the following
activities based on the information provided
 Create two folders called “Network” and “Internet” on one of the computers
 Share the folder “Network” to the other computer with Read permission.
 Share the folder “Internet” to the other computer with Read/Write
permission.
 Access the shared folders on the other computer
 Install and share a printer on the first computer
 Add the shared printer to the second computer and print a test page.
Project 4: Disassemble and reassemble a computer
Time allotted for this project: 0: 30 minutes

Instruction: Under this project the candidate is expected to disassemble and

reassemble a computer by performing the following three tasks based on the
information provided

Task 1: Disassemble the given full functional computer

Instruction: Under this task the candidate is expected to disassemble CD-Drive, Hard
disk drive and RAM of the given computer following the standard
computer maintenance safety procedures.

Task 2: Reassemble the dismounted parts of a computer

Instruction: Under t his task the candidate is expected to performing the following
activities based on the information provided

 Reassemble the dismounted CD-Drive, Hard disk drive and RAM

 Troubleshoot if any problem encountered during the reassembling and make the
computer operational again.

Task 3: Create a document for operational procedures

Instruction: Under t his task the candidate is expected to prepare an operational

document for the computer you have reassembled above. (Using your
own format)
