CRITERIA AND GUIDELINES FOR JUDGING

Criteria:
Preliminaries (for top 3)
Judging criteria will be based on Advocacy & Intelligence for 60%, Poise and Elegance for 25%
and Over-all Impact for 15%.
Finals
Judging criteria will be based on Intelligence (70%), Poise and Elegance (20%) and Over-all
Impact (10%).
Guidelines:

1. Each department will choose their representative according to their own set of criteria.
They are required to fill-up a candidate’s form (name, hobbies, interest and more) and as
well as their advocacy on March 24, 2023.
2. Each candidate will compete in the following categories:
Pageant day:

1. Production Number
Candidates will perform their production number and introduce their name, age,
and department while wearing the required outfit, which is has gold and silver colors in
glittery style. Everyone should avoid using inappropriate language when introducing
themselves. They will be scored from 1-10, 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest.
2. Talent Competition
Every candidate will be given a maximum of 3-4 minutes only for their talent
presentation. They will be scored from 1-10, 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest.
3. Gown Competition
Candidates must show proper poise and bearing while in their gown. They will be
scored from 1-10, 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest.
4. Preliminary Round
Candidates will be asked to present their chosen advocacy along with some
information in the filled-up candidate form and after that, they will pick a question in
which they will answer. The top three finalists will be chosen based on their Judging
criteria that will be based on Advocacy & Intelligence for 60%, Poise and Elegance for
25% and Over-all Impact for 15%.
5. Final Round
The three (3) candidates will be asked a question. The top three finalists will be
chosen based on their Judging criteria that will be based on Intelligence (70%), Poise and
Elegance (20% and Over-all Impact (10%).
