The string was pulled out and the nozzles were removed from the bit. When the revised bit assembly was lowered to 397m and circulated, no dynamic mud loss was found.     Summary of Drilled well

    The well was drilled down to 2040m and the string was pulled out for bit change. New
    17 ½” TCR bit with NMDC & SDMM was made up and lowered up to 30m; observed static
    mud loss. Well, was kept under observation for 1 hour to find any mud loss and found static
    loss at the rate 9 bbl/hr. So, the string was pulled out and rack back NMDC & SDMM. Same
    17 ½” bit without nozzles with stabilizer at 0’ and conventional BHA was lowered up to 397m.
    To check dynamic mud loss, circulation was carried out at 20 SPM and found no dynamic
    loss. The string was lowered up to bottom and again circulation was carried out to check any
    dynamic mud loss by increasing SPM from 50 to 120 in stages and found no dynamic mud
    loss Since there was no dynamic mud loss drilling was resumed.
