Good morning, class.

 To ensure that you are not just being spoodfed in our class, here is an activity
that would require comprehension and critical thinking. This is good for today and until Thursday.

Follow these steps:

1. Divide the class into two groups, simply alphabetical. (Class president, please take charge.)
2. You may meet among yourselves via facebook messenger or google meet. (It’s up to you on how
you will be able to discuss the activity.)
3. Group 1 gets the first case Baritua vs. Court of Appeals and Group 2 gets Cinco vs. Court of
Appeals.
4. Read and discuss your assigned case as a group.
5. Get the FACTS, ISSUE, and the RULING of SUPREME COURT in the case.
6. Give special attention to how an obligation is extinguished.
7. Prepare a short powerpoint presentation briefly stating the facts, the issue, and the ruling in the
case.
8. Be ready to report on Monday. Make sure that all members of the group know what happened
in the case because I will randomly ask all of you.

Good luck and stay safe.
