This document will define available awards and its selection attributes for Leo Mid-Year
Review Conference- Leo District 306B2.

Objectives of Leo Mid-Year Review Conference Awards- Leo District 306B2

 Leo Mid-Year Review Conference Awards- Leo District 306B2 to recognize the
performance by Leo club members in various aspects. In addition, the awards program
has the following objectives.
o To encourage Leo clubs and members to perform in humanitarian services and
develop their leadership skills.
o To maintain high motivation level of members which is essential for the
sustainability of the movement
o To create healthy competition to go out of comfort zones

Eligibility for Nominations

Leo clubs and members in good standing will be eligible for awards nominations.In this scenario
good standing is defined as given below.

o If the sponsoring Lions club is an active Lions club in Lions clubs

International (status quo is not inactive) and the Leo club is an active Leo club
in Lions clubs International (i.e. International dues are paid by parent Lions
club to the Lions clubs International).

o If the Leo club/Leo club members have paid the membership due to Leo
Multiple District 306, Sri Lanka (the amount agreed upon the consent of Leo
District Presidents) via paying out to respective Leo District before the
deadline. The responsibility of collection of membership dues from Leo
clubs/Leo club members is with the respective Leo District where Leo District
is accountable to Leo Multiple District 306 on payment of membership dues.

o Committee members of the District Evaluation panel cannot be considered for

the nominations of the awards.
Awards Executive Committee

Awards Executive Committee of Leo District 306 B2 will inclusive of,

7. Leo Umesh Maheswaran - Voting

8. Leo Lion Thathsara Rajapaksa - Non Voting

9. Lion Dinesh Thiyagaraja - Non Voting

10. Leo Lion Nadeeja Thathsarani - Non Voting

11. Leo Lion Dimithri Ranawake - Non Voting

IMPORTANT:

 The decision of the respective committees, whether taken by a majority vote or by a unanimous
decision, shall be the final decision in the matters pertaining to the awards and all recognition.
Influencing the decisions of the Executive Committee is a reason to disqualify.
 The decisions of the respective committees shall stand at any given instance to maintain a true
and fair view.

Required Documentation

Districts should submit duly completed awards nomination forms to Leo District 306 B2. Relevant
activity reports which contains the nominated project reports and other supporting documents shall
accompany the nominations.

Nominations Deadlines

The final deadline of report submission to Leo District 306 B2 will be on or

before 23rd January 2024 at 23:59PM.

IMPORTANT:

In case the awards selection committee finds no nomination, which is satisfactory and relevant
enough for an award category, the committee has the right to decide not to award under that
category.

 Leo Who always front runner for the job
 Mention the Initiatives of the Leo, He/ She can be a Members or Director (But not an
Exco Member)
 Recent Treasure Award
 Must be a Leo who is inducted in the current Leoistic year and is registered in MyLCI.
 Must have chaired club projects and has gained exposure to club, district and multiple
through active participation
 Outstanding performance in club/district/multiple level
 Phenomenal Leadership Award
 This should Be a Exco Member of the Club, who initiate the Long Term Planning of the
Club which Lead to Success path
 Mention the Initiatives of the Leo Exco Member
 This Will be added advantage more focus on Administrative Wise
 Everyday Hero Award
 A Member (Not and EXCO or Directors) Who participated most number of Projects and
Service Hours
 Please Attach the Projects with Service Awards (With attendance)
 Best PR Materials - Monthly
PR materials are evaluated under the following criteria.
 Logo Arrangement (Logo order, Logo sizes, Logo spaces)
 Color usage (Color variation, Color matching)
 Relation to the theme (Project and Event)
 Use of standard sizes
 Creativity
 Impact and Standard
 Quality (Resolution, Pixels)
 Content (Language use, Accuracy, Placing the words)
 Top 10 PR Enabled Clubs
Clubs are evaluated under the following criteria.
 Social Media Presence (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Threads,
YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn)
 Social Media Activeness (Update of social media)
 Having a club’s PR template (Logo Footer, Toolkit, Color pallet)
 The quality of PR materials (Creativity, Logo arrangement, theme related,
accurate size, accuracy of content)
 The quantity of PR materials (PR materials per day)
