A category B1 aircraft maintenance licence shall permit the holder to issue certificates of release to service service
and to act as B1 support staff following: - Maintenance performed on aircraft structure, powerplant and mechanical
and electrical systems. - work on avionic systems requiring only simple tests to prove their serviceability and not
requiring troubleshooting.

What is simple test?

Test which outcome should be GO/No go type parameter no interpretation is required and the test does not required
more than 10 action and can be accomplish by aircraft switch, control, bite,or external equipment not required special
training.

Which task of B2 can perform by B1.1?

Electrical system means the aircraft electrical power supply source, plus the distribution system to the different
components. Lighting systems are also included in this definition. Also it covers x Continuity, insulation and bonding
techniques and testing; x Crimping and testing of crimped joints; x Connector pin removal and insertion; x Wiring
protection techniques.

What is the Difference between B1.1 & B3:?

B1.1 = Aeroplanes Turbine

B3 is applicable to piston-engine non-pressurized aeroplanes of 2000 Kg MTOM and below.

Can Cat-A make MEL?

Can defer by MEL if (MOE-3.4.8 point C-18)

1. There is no need for troubleshooting

2. Task under MEL coverage
3. Maintenance action required by the MEL is simple.

What is Critical task?

Task which failure could affect the safety of the aircraft like maintenance on control system, flight control, major
structural repair,CDCCL system components etc.

What is Duplicate Inspection ?

REFF: MOE-2.24.2 Point-A:

After completion of a critical task by an authorized person another qualified person will perform a second inspection
with the same depth and standard and certification, which is called duplicate/independent inspection.
What is CDCCL design?

CDCCL=Critical Design Configuration Control Limitation

The features of the fuel system design, which must be maintained, for the complete service life of the aircraft, to
ensure that any unsafe condition does not develop.

What is AD/SB?
AD=Airworthiness directives or notice issued by the authority of a design organization like the FAA for Boeing to
correct unsafe conditions is called AD which is Mandatory.
SB= Service Bulletins issued by the manufacturer to improve the products is called SB.

What is CAME?
This Exposition will be used to coordinate all continuing airworthiness management activities and engineering
functions within US-Bangla Airline’s CAMO. It is also to ensure compliance with the regulatory framework and
relevant airworthiness requirements governed the issuance of AOC and
CAMO approval by the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).
Considering which ANO CAME has been established?
In accordance with the ANO (AW) CAAB Part-M Subpart-G AMC M.A.704.

What will be your action if Pack light cames on Recall?

Temperature Selectors (CONT CAB, FWD CAB, AFT CAB) have to ensure they are not in OFF position.

- Pack/Zone temperature controller bite will show the faulty item.

• Standby rudder
• Leading edge flaps and slats.

What is the purpose of PTU?

The PTU system is a hydraulic motor-pump assembly that supplies alternative pressure to leading edge flaps and
slats and an autoslat system if system B is de-pressurized. The PTU is controlled by the PTU control valve. System A
pressurizes the motor when the PTU control valve is open. System B supplies the fluid to the pump.

When Engine Control Light Comes on?

In EEC both channel found fault or in single channel operation found fault in that channel or

There are four EGT signal and each EEC channel use 02 signal. In normal mode if more than 02 signal becomes
faulty Eng: Control light will illuminate and In single channel operation if any signal out of 02 becomes faulty ENG
Control light will come.

What is the condition of ENG CNTRL LIGHT?

* If any, no dispatch engine fault occurs. AND

• Airplane is on the ground more than 30 seconds after landing or increasing ground speed is less than 80 knots

• EEC is energized (engine starting, running, or EEC energized for maintenance)

Is it Dispatchable?

Non Dispatchable
What is the type of faults ?

Short time fault-75 Hours-Last D/I,

Long term-150 Hours- Last D/I,
Economic as per company policy.

When EEC ALTN LIGHT will comes on?

If PT(Total Pressure) is not valid that mean EEC not getting the Total air pressure from ADRIUS or the EEC switch is
put in the OFF position, the EEC goes to one of the alternate modesIn Soft ALTN mode no light will illuminate on first
15 second. The EEC energizes the ALTN light on the P5 aft overhead panel when one of these occur:

• EEC is in soft alternate mode for 15 seconds

• EEC is in hard alternate mode
• EEC switch is selected to OFF (this puts the EEC in hard alternate mode).

Evaluation: CDU Bite will show the fault.

ATA-78
What is the function of sync locks?

The sync locks prevent the operation of the hydraulic actuators when there is no deploy signal.

What is the purpose of EAU?

-The primary purpose of the engine accessory unit (EAU) is to control the T/R stow operation.

The REVERSER light comes on for 10 seconds during a T/R stow operation. The light will stay on if the T/R does
not stow in 10 seconds. The EAU controls this light.

What is the T/R Related Safety Precaution?

-Flap Should be up and Do not operate tag or Leading edge device deactivation.

-Related TR Hydraulic Modular should be locked by pin
