My extensive experience as an instructor pilot in the PAF has equipped me with the skills and

knowledge to train the next generation of quality pilots in the United States. With a wealth of
experience training young pilots, I am well positioned to transfer my own knowledge and
experience to my students.

In addition, my experience flying a variety of small and multi-engine aircraft has added to my
instructional techniques, allowing me to provide more meaningful and effective training. This
is especially critical in light of the current pilot shortage in the US, which has prompted many
FAA-certified flight schools to hastily train and certify more commercial pilots to meet the
demand. The travel industry has rebounded strongly after the easing of COVID restrictions,
further exacerbating the demand for pilots.

With experience on both modern aircraft such as the Beechcraft KA 350 Fusion with state-of-
the-art avionics and older models like the C-130 Hercules, I am well equipped to share my
valuable experience with students. Flying older aircraft has also taught me to prioritize safety,
and it is my goal to train pilots with a heightened awareness of safety. To achieve this, I
believe quality training should cover: 1) understanding procedures, 2) emergency handling
and simulation, including those not typically covered in AFMs, and 3) crew resource
management during critical emergencies.

Given the current and projected pilot shortage in the US, the demand for experienced pilots
and instructors is only set to increase. As a seasoned pilot and manager, I am confident that I
am well-positioned to play a role in supporting the aviation industry and will strive to
perform to the best of my abilities.
