PAAT is a joint venture between Cebu Pacific Air & CAE. PAAT offers typerating and recurrence training for the Airbus A320 family. It has adopted the
standard Airbus training footprint for ELT Jet Familiarization & Multi-Crew
Coordination course and A320 initial-type rating. The ELT Jet Fam/MCC is a
requirement for the Airbus A320 initial type-rating. PAAT has an Airbus Procedures
Transition Trainer & Level-D Full Flight Simulators in its training center. PAAT's
instructors have extensive experience as airline pilots and have previously worked
with Airbus training centers abroad. They have been standardized by Airbus flight
instructors from Toulouse, France.
PAAT is located in the Clark Special Economic Zone, a former US Air Force
Base that has been converted into a major freeport zone. Visitors to Clark can
engage in various activities such as duty-free shopping, golf and casinos. For the
more adventurous, Clark is the perfect jump-off point to trekking to Mt.Pinatubo and
enjoying the historically lively night-life of the former US Air Force Base and the
former US Naval Base in Subic, a few hours away. PAAT is only 5 minutes away from
and is easily accessible to other Asia-Pacific destinations via Clark International
Airport.
