The Jakarta Public Regional Library, more commonly referred to as Jakarta Library, is one of the libraries
that is no less crowded with visitors. It is located at Jl. Cikini Raya No.73, RT.8 / RW.2, Cikini, Kec.
Menteng, Central Jakarta City, Special Capital Region of Jakarta, 10330. Located in Taman Ismail
Marzuki, this library was reopened to the public after being revitalized and inaugurated by Anies
Baswedan as Governor of DKI Jakarta on July 7, 2022. Jakarta Library was established as one of the
public places provided by the government to improve the literacy culture of the community.

Jakarta Library is located on the 3rd floor of the Ali Sadikin Building. The new face of Jakarta Library
with a modern, stunning, aesthetic, and industrial-style building model can attract many visitors from both
local Jakarta residents and visiting tourists. In addition, the aesthetic interior makes young people feel at
home in the library. The Jakarta Library consists of 3 floors with various rooms that are certainly
comfortable for visitors to use. There are several rooms provided in Jakarta Library, including family
reading rooms, children's reading rooms, staircase reading rooms, game booths, discussion booths,
storytelling booths, breastfeeding rooms, lending services, public reading rooms, private reading rooms,
public reading rooms, deposit reading rooms, reference reading rooms, multimedia service rooms, and
multifunctional rooms.

Jakarta Library also provides various facilities for the convenience of visitors. The various facilities
available at the Jakarta Library are prayer rooms, toilets, free wifi, and an information desk to help
visitors who need assistance. With complete rooms and facilities, the Jakarta Library also offers a wide
collection of books such as novels, children's story books, and books on psychology, religion, business,
health, and so on.
Visiting Jakarta Library is very easy. We must register online at the library link jakarta.go.id or scan the
barcode available at the library door for free. After registering online, visitors will be asked to show the
barcode that is available when making an online reservation. After receiving the barcode, staff will scan
the barcode. You can then go to the Information and Services Desk to get your bag and locker key to store
your personal belongings. When you go to the Service and Information Desk, the officer will also explain
some of the rules in the Jakarta Library, including that it is forbidden to bring food and drinks and not to
make noise. The schedule of the Jakarta Library itself is Monday - Friday from 09.00 to 17.00, while
Saturday and Sunday are open from 09.00 to 20.00. This library is closed on holidays and public holidays.

The Jakarta Library was established with the hope of providing the most comfortable facilities so that the
community can continue to build and develop literacy habits. The advantages of the Jakarta Library are
that we can read and learn various knowledge from the book sources provided. In addition, the Jakarta
Library is also a very comfortable place to work or do college or study assignments.
