In the interview stage…
10 FAQs during interviews:
• Tell me about yourself.
• What is your greatest strength?
• Can you describe a situation in your past where you
learned from a mistake?
• What is the most difficult situation you have ever faced?
• Is there anything you would like to improve about
yourself?
• What is the most important thing that you look for in a
job?
• What are your career goals?
• What motivates you?
• Why would you like to work for us?
• Why should I hire you?
In the post-interview stage…
• Conduct a self-evaluation.
• Write a thank-you note.
• Keep in touch.
• Return calls/answer emails.
What to prepare:
❑2 copies of your Resume
❑2 copies of your Cover/Application Letter
❑2 copies of the Interview Guide Rubric
Place these documents in a SHORT transparent (white) sliding
folder. Don’t forget to wear your formal business attire during the
interview.
***There will be 2 faculty members who will conduct the interviews,
that’s why you need to prepare 2 copies (1 for each interviewer).
Yes, this is just a MOCK job interview, but I hope you don’t
settle for mediocrity. Remember that good enough isn’t
good enough, if it can be better; better isn’t good enough, if
