Significance of the study

The Philippines is one of the most affected countries by the COVID-19 Outbreak. This study is could be
highly significant and beneficial to the following:

Online Sellers - Customer behavior was discovered to be particularly poor in terms of business
development, contrary to popular belief, and thus hurts the region's market international economy.
COVID-19 keeps people at home, but internet shopping and home delivery are becoming increasingly
popular. Conversely, due to a lack of expertise in online buying and home delivery, purchasing is
lowered. People were more hesitant to buy products that had a significant impact on business
sustainability and development as a result of COVID-19, and consumer behavior was found to be
unfavorable.

Future research - This research helps researchers better understand the COVID-19 pandemic's trends
and consequences on consumer purchasing behavior. The findings demonstrate how customer behavior
altered as the COVID-19 outbreak spread. The goal of the questionnaire survey, which was conducted
using the internet via messenger was to see how consumers adjusted their shopping behavior and
prioritized which are needed to be purchased in response to their fears during the pandemic crisis.
