The Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting program aims to develop the capability/capacity/competence of the students to:
1. Have the competence of professional accountants with the ability to identify the basic concepts that underlie each of the functional
areas of business as well as capable of making a positive contribution over their lifetime to the profession and society in which they
work.
2. Have the ability to support the various stakeholders, e.g., regulatory bodies, potential investors, creditors, management and

Project management theory, terms and concepts are introduced to the Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting (BSMA). Students
enrolled here will discover the project life cycle and learn how to build a successful project from pre-implementation to completion. It will

introduce project management topics such as strategic management and project selection, the project manager, management conflicts and
negotiations, project organization structure, project activity planning, project budgetting and cost estimation, and project scheduling.
Upon completion of this course, the students can:
1. Explain accurately the processes and interactions a practitioner undertakes to achieve project goals. 

CLASS POLICIES (Specific to the Course)


The course implements Adaptive Flexible Learning Experience (AFLEx) through Google Classroom. Enrolment to the said learning

management system will be discussed in the classroom. Policies on distribution of learning materials, submission of

Students are required to observe the following on-line meeting etiquette:
1. Join early-at least 5 minutes before the start of class. Make sure your microphone and camera are working properly.
