1.0 GENERAL STATEMENT

1.1 The tenderer is required to respond

to every item. In response to the
technical specification, single word
like “Noted”, “Agreed”, “Comply’’ or
its equivalent should not be used.
However if single word has to be
used reference must be stated.

1.2 The company must provide any

appropriate references, manual,
catalogues and pamphlet of all the
proposed items for bidding and
appraisal purposes. All documents
listed above must be in English or
Bahasa Melayu.

1.3 The tenderer must abide and follow

all Malaysian government
regulations, laws pertaining to the
supply and delivery of the
equipment.

4.0 SUPPLY AND DELIVERY

4.1 To supply, deliver, install, testing,
training and commissioning, make
good upon completion and proper
hand-over the as-mention-below
equipments and machineries to be
placed in the Digital Studio at IKM
Tan Sri Yahaya Ahmad, Pekan.

4.2 The equipment should be new,

original and have acceptable and
high quality for the normal
experimental use. No demonstration
or used equipment will be accepted.

4.3 The machinery/ equipment should

be able to operate without any
difficulty after it has been installed
and commissioned, and it is
expected to do so as warranted by
the tenderer guarantee.

4.4 All the necessary basic, standard,

additional and optional accessories
or attachments shall be completely
prescribed, including auxiliary items

 that were needed by the equipment
so as making the equipment a
complete workable system according
to its intended functionality.

4.5 The tenderer is requested to specify

the earliest date to start and
complete the job.

4.6 Tenderer’s competency in executing

the job successfully is
MANDATORY. As such the tenderer
is required to submit the company’s
past experience in handling similar
kind of job.

4.7 All insurance cost pertaining to the

tender should be borne by the
tenderer during the
course of this project.

4.8 MARA reserves the right to accept or

reject any extension of the period
required for the delivery and
completion of the work.

4.9 MARA reserves the right not to

accept the lowest price quoted for
this project.

5.0 INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING

AND TEST-RUN

5.1 Installation cost of all items of

equipment is the responsibility and
borne by the successful tenderer.

5.2 The tenderer must abide and follow

all Malaysian government
regulations and procedures during
the installation, testing and
commissioning work. Where
applicable, the tenderer must seek
an approval from local authorities.

 5.3 MARA reserves the right not to
accept the handing over if the work
carried is unsatisfactory. MARA has
the right to call other professional
parties to complete the job
satisfactorily. The cost will be borne
by the tenderer.

5.4 A detailed “Acceptance Procedure”

should be prepared in accordance
with the manufacturer’s testing
procedure and submitted in the
proposal. Before any actual testing
carried out, this procedure needs to
be approved by IKM TSYA, Pekan.

5.5 Commissioning report should be

submitted upon successful
completion of the work within
fourteen working days (14).

6.0 MANUALS AND

DOCUMENTATION 2 set

6.1
The supplier must provide the
original copy (no photocopy) of the
following:

i. Model & brand brochure

ii. Instruction / Operation

manual
iii. Commissioning and test
report / certificate of
equipment accuracy from the
manufacturer and/or
authorized agent/dealer

7.0 DELIVERY PERIOD

7.1 The item shall be delivered, installed

and commissioned within three (3)
months after Surat Setuju Terima is

 signed by both parties.MARA and
successful tenderer (subjected to
MARA contracting procedure).

8.0 WARRANTY PERIOD

8.1 The tenderer shall state the warranty

period of all the equipment supplied.

8.2 The warranty period must not less

than two (2) year from the date of
completion and handing over.

8.3 Any equipment and /or material

defects and /or faulty operation due
to manufacturer or installation shall
be the responsibility of the tenderer
who shall immediately make good
and/or replace any such defects or
faulty components.

8.4 All labour cost and material needed

during warranty period shall be
supplied free of charge. Any
exclusion shall be clearly specified in
the document.

9.0 MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS AND

EXCLUSION TERMS

9.1 The tenderer shall provide complete

toolkit and accessories for general
servicing/maintenance, adjustments
and repair of the equipment.

9.2 MARA reserves the right not to

consider and automatically reject
tenderer’s offer which fails to comply
any of the above –mentioned clause.

9.3 The successful tenderer has to

complete and endorse a Certificate
of Completion upon handing over of
the equipment.

9.4 The tenderer shall guarantee the

 availability of a good after sales
