5.1. Alcatel PABX, Alcatel Admin IP Phones, and Cetis Guest Analog/IP Phone in line to the
approved client requirement

7. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
7.1. MDF & IDF Room shall be access restricted to authorised persons only.
7.2. Do not open Active Material. Competent and Manufacturer trained personnel only to
open panels for maintenance operations.
7.3. Do not touch moving parts, result in physical injuries. Isolate power and water prior to
equipment maintenance. Competent trained personnel only to carry out maintenance
activities.
• Adequate cooling, temperate and humidity controlled environment for all end systems
• All types of electrical and civil work.
• Provision of space to keep the equipment (Active) at the site office (Store).
• Provision of secures and covered warehousing facility.
• All types of power infrastructure and UPS.
• All types of roof, wall or sleeve cutting and repairing.
• Dust free environment should be provided by Client for MDF/IDF’s
• Internet Availability at site from Internet Service Provider is client Responsibility
• Standard Mass Pole to be provided by client on appropriate Wifi Outdoor locations with
required height and dimensions
• All type of conduits/PVC/Trucking etc has to be provided by client wherever required
• Scaffolding or big height ladder to be provided for Cabling/Installation of WiFi Purpose.
• Building Access to be provided by Customer
• Down time to be Provided by customer (Date and Timings will be discuss)
• Building Grounding pit/bar should be provided by customer near Wireless Outdoor
locations as well as MDF Room and IDF Rooms Racks should less then equal to 1V for
connecting earth wiring

Internet Availability
Precedence Technologies working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 5 days a week i.e. 40
hours a week.
Working hours can be adjusted/extended based on the site requirements or criticality of the
project to meet specific mile-stone or dead-line.
Verify that temperature and clearance ranges are within tolerable limits. The
thermal sensors may shut down equipment if it is subjected to conditions
beyond the recommended limits. Equipment can be damaged if these
restrictions are not respected
Check that an adequate number of power outlets are available. Verify that
the Main Equipments and the other equipment in the rack do not present a
possible over current or overload to the customer's branch circuit and/or
power distribution strip.
Ensure that the installation site has access to approved grounds and that
either a trained technician or a licensed electrician will be verifying all
grounds and installing the Supplementary Ground Conductor.
12.1.1. On receipt of the Alcatel PABX and accessories at site, necessary precautions
shall be taken for unloading, shifting & storage.
12.1.2.Material shall be stored directly to the Store Room and covered / dry space at all
the time.
12.1.3.All materials received at site shall be inspected and ensured that the materials
are as per approved material submittal.
12.1.4.Any discrepancies, damage etc., found will be notified and reported for further
action.
12.1.5.Site Engineer (Telecom) has to ensure that all Equipment used at site are free
from any damage or deformity of any kind. Any minor damages observed shall be
repaired suitably and in case if the repairs could not be done properly, the
Equipment are to be removed from site.
• 1st Kick Off Meeting - from Precedence Technologies Team before Project
Execution with all Concerns (I.T/Engineering/Housekeeping/Operations/Security)
• Site Walk Through by Precedence Technologies Team before Project Execution with
all Concerns (Hotel I.T/Main Contractor/Cabling Vendor)
• Customer must identify a secure place, during the time of site survey, where the
equipment will be delivered and stored before it goes into the server room for
actual installation
• Equipment will be delivered to customer site and will be stored in secure place
provided by customer
• Precedence Technologies will inspect the equipment on site, verify all ordered
equipment is available, customer will be notify in case of any issues
* Call Center software installation, call routing and reporting configuration for agent
Testing:
* Redundancy Testing of Base Units
* Testing with Client Network (PMS)- Tiger TMS
* Testing Analog/PRI Lines
* Testing National/International Calls
* Testing Inbound/Outbound Dialling
Commissioning:
* Commissioning the systems under scope of work.
Documentation:
* Network schematic diagram with all devices and their IP addresses along with
Locations details
* Method of statement.
* Technical summary of the installed system.
* Final configuration copies of all systems.
* Testing and acceptance reports.
* All devices passwords.
* O&M manuals as shipped by the vendor along with equipment will be handed over.
Training:
* Training will be provided to client representatives on the list of equipment in the
BOQ (maximum 3-persons)
* Explanation of network design and topology configured for the client.

* Brief introduction to the various technologies introduced in the design and topology.
* Brief introduction to administrative level commands.
Handover:
* Handover of Telephony network will commence to client representative once the
installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, documentation, training is done.
Sign-off:
* Sign-off of Telephony network will commence by client representative once the
installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, documentation, training and Handover is done.
It also includes the Call Center package with Voice Call Recording and Wall-Board for
Calls Statistics to Call Center.
PC Based Operators have been proposed (including PCs & Headsets) for the Operators.
It is a multimedia professional attendant solution, allowing the attendant to switch
between telephony applications and Windows applications at any time.
• An IP attendant console for the OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server
including:
o An associated Premium Desk Phone set used for voice (IP or TDM)
o The IP Attendant Application running on a standard PC
o An optional Busy Lamp Field (BLF) application, running on a standard
PC
o An ergonomic telephony keyboard with LEDs, shortcut keys, and USB
connection

13.2. Admin/BOH Alcatel IP Phone is getting IP address from Admin Voice VLAN when
connected to switch POE port over IP Network
13.3. Admin/BOH Alcatel IP Phone is registered with PABX & Logged-In using desired
Admin/BOH Extension Number as per Operator’s provided Numbering Plan
13.4. Admin/BOH Alcatel IP Phone is getting dial-tone and able to dial any other
extension number within Hotel
13.5. Admin/BOH Alcatel IP Phone is able to dial any non-PABX / PSTN number based
on assigned calling permissions
13.6. Guest(table Side) cetis IP Phone is getting IP address from Guest Voice VLAN
when connected to switch POE port over IP Network
13.7. Guest(table Side) cetis IP Phone is registered with PABX & Logged-In using
desired Admin/BOH Extension Number as per Operator’s provided Numbering Plan
13.8. Guest(table Side) cetis Phone is getting dial-tone and able to dial any other
extension number within Hotel
13.9. Guest(Bed and bath) cetis Analoge Phone is Connected with desire Analouge
Port when connected to Port it will come up eith dial tone.
13.10. Once Checked-in, Guest Cetis IP Phone and Analoge is able to dial any non-PABX
/ PSTN number based on assigned calling permissions
13.11. Once Checked-out, Guest Cetis IP Phone and Analoge Phone is only able to dial
any extension number within Hotel, but not able to dial any non-PABX / PSTN number
based on assigned calling permissions
13.12. Service Keys / Speed Dial buttons on Guest Cetis IP Phone and Analoge Phone is
able to dial the respective service / department as labelled on Guest Phones
13.13. Upon Guest Check-In, Guest name is updating on the phone and vice versa.
