The class visited WASA on November 20th to learn about its water purification processes. Upon arrival, the manager described WASA's history. Students were then divided into groups and toured the microbiology, physical, and chemical labs to see how water samples are collected and analyzed. They also learned about WASA's sewage treatment and sanitation methods before visiting the dumping area and electric pump room. The field trip helped students understand WASA's water distribution system and achieve the objectives of exploring its purification, sanitation, disposal, and provision methods.
