Task :
Find Vo in the below
circuit using Thevenin
Theorem.

Objective :
We can find the Voltage across resistance using Thevenin theorem .

Apparatus :
1. Multimeter
2. DC Voltage 24V
3. DC Current 2mA
4. 4 Resisters (different values)

Theory :
From the Fig, the Thevenin Voltage is the voltage across the terminals
of a & b and all voltage sources voltage in circuit .
Although , the Thevenin Resistance is the combined resistance of circuit
connected in series with Thevenin voltage .
We want to Simple to Simplest the circuit to find out the voltage across
load .
Procedure :
1) First we place the DC Voltage Source 24V from the Place
Source Option .
2) Place the DC Current Source of 2mA from the Place Source
Option .
3) Place the required Four resisters from the Place Basic Option
and the give the values to whole resisters .
4) Connect voltmeter to the 4 kΩ resister To find out the
voltage across the resister .
5) Run the Circuit
6) Voltmeter value is the voltage drop across the load .
Using the Thevenin Theorem :
1) In Thevenin Theorem , we find the Rth And Vth .
2) Open the Current source and Short the Voltage Source
3) Connect all the resisters with each other
4) Place the Multimeter and change the option to the Ohm
meter in Multimeter
5) Run the circuit and find the Rth
6) Connect the load in series along with the Rth and Vth .
7) Place the Voltmeter from the place Indictors & connect
parallel and find the voltage drop across the load .
Step 1 :
Find Vo across voltage.

Step 2 :
Find the Thevenin Voltage.
Step 3 :
Open the Current Source and Short the Voltage Source . Find Thevenin Resistance
 Simplified form of Thevenin Theorem

Precautions :
1) The whole circuit will be Grounded because if the circuit is not
grounded the when we run the circuit it will show the error .
2) The Ohm-meter and volt-meter connected parallel in circuit .
