Coronation Night & Variety Show 2024


Excellence coupled with social responsibility propels an institution to
even greater heights. Our best efforts lies in our capacity to let others become
the best of themselves as well. Education is a compelling force that enables
our collective talents and abilities to achieve communal goals and aspirations.
Gingoog City Colleges has become a beacon of hope and a source of
generous and well-meaning individuals through its 57 years of existence. In
keeping the tradition of genuine love and service to the community, tonight we
celebrate that same spirit of excellence and hard work ignited by our founders
and the enduring commitment of our administration, faculty, staff, and
students. More importantly, we offer this night as thanksgiving for the
immeasurable blessings, our patron, Sr. Sto Niño has given upon us, by
showcasing our God-given gifts guided by our theme, Sinulog 2024:
Inspiring & Influencing GCCians the values of Generosity & Compassion
by Sharing God’s Blessings.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to our Sinulog Coronation Night and


Variety Show 2024!

My due respect to our School President, Mrs. Tita G. Garrido, to our


school officials and guests in attendance and to all of you who are here with
us this evening. As GCC gives back honor and praise to the graces that the
Almighty has showered her, we humbly present this night to all of you! We
request everyone to please rise for the invocation, followed by the Philippine
National Anthem and GCC Song.

You can now be seated. A school community and family like GCC, will never
be as such throughout its existence if not selflessly cared for by an untiring
leader. Let us put our hands together to the Mother of GCC, our school
president, Mrs. Tita G. Garrido!

Thank you so much Mam Tita, our school would not have reached this far and
will so in the future ahead without your steadfast leadership!

Munting Sinulog Prince of Faith: Emanuel Jan Tadlip-Vargas


Prince Eman is a 6-year old Grade 1 pupil under the advisory of Teacher
Jenielyn O. Rodriguez. He lives in Purok Dos Brgy. 24-A Gingoog City. His
parents, Mr. Eric Jan and Mrs. Emilyn Vargas can’t help but be proud of their
cute, loving, and adorable son. His Royal Highness, The Prince of Faith,
Emanuel Jan Vargas!

Munting Sinulog Princess of Faith: Aliyah Baguio-Alipio


Her Royal Highness, Princess Aliyah is the charming daughter of Mr. & Mrs.
Arnel and Helen Alipio. She resides in Saa Estates, Brgy. 26 Gingoog City.
This kind and thoughtful 8-year old is a Grade 3 Section Hope pupil under the
care of Teacher Marie Chris Esios. Once again Munting Sinulog Princess of
Faith, Aliyah Alipio!

Munting Sinulog Prince of Hope: Ken Jaden Gundaya-Cabardo


This handsome young gentleman is 10 years old and is a Grade 5 pupil under
the guidance of Sir Mark Alvin Boluntad. His parents, Papa Rudy Ric and
Mama Charist Adenil hope and pray that he grow up to be as responsible and
loving as he already is today. Dear friends, His Royal Highness, The Prince of
Hope, Ken Jaden Cabardo!

Munting Sinulog Princess of Hope: Lovelyn Claire Jumo


Princess Lovely, is a sweet 9-year old Grade 4 pupil under the guidance of
Ms. Nove Xuxa C. Talja. She resides in Brgy. 18-A, Gingoog City. Her
wonderful parents, Thirteen Edwards and Christopher Edwards love to see
her grow up beautiful, smart and kind as she already is. Once again, our
Princess of Hope, Lovelyn Claire Jumo!

Munting Sinulog Prince of Love: Godfrey E. Salise


Mr. & Mrs. Marius and Geraldine Salise beams with happiness and pride as
their 8-year old Grade 2 pupil son becomes a source of joy and cheer at home
and in school. Teacher Mary Ann Quinabo, Prince Godfrey’s adviser is equally
happy as well because he has shown hardwork and diligence in his studies.
Once again, our Munting Sinulog Prince of Love, Godfrey Salise.
Munting Sinulog Princess of Love: Christy Jane Curay-Hidalgo
Princess Christy is the daughter of Ivy B. Curay and Dan Christian O. Hidalgo
who are delighted to see their daughter shining with grace tonight. She is 11
years old and a Grade 6 pupil taken care of by her adviser, Ms. Jessie Mae V.
Calvo who’s beyond happy because she has proven herself to be both a
beauty and a smart kid inside the classroom and beyond. Ladies and
gentlemen, our Princess of Love, Christy Jane Hidalgo!

Munting Sinulog Prince of Peace: Lanz Leerey Amper-Golis


This Grade 6 Section Simplicity learner, is the very active and cheerful son of
Mr. Rey Golis and Mrs. Maria Teresa A. Barrero. He lives in Purok Quatro,
Brangay 25 Gingoog City. His class adviser, Teacher Jessie Mae Calo attests
that his good-natured personality endears him to his classmates and has won
him many friends.

Munting Sinulog Princess of Peace: Amara Vish M. Engarcial


Her royal highness is the loving and beautiful 7-year old daughter of Mr. Vince
Carl M. Engarcial and Mrs. Sheena Marie M. Engarcial. She lives in Purok
Singko, Brgy. 24-A, Gingoog City. Her class adviser, Ms. Mary Ann C.
Quinabo is proud with her achievements and is excited to see her as she
embarks on a wondrous journey. Once again, Princess of Peace, Amara Vish
M. Engarcial.

Let us now witness the farewell march of last year’s royalties, their majesties:
2023 Munting Sinulog King, Ean N. Jaron
His Majesty, King Ean is now a Grade 5 pupil, under the advisory of Sir Mark
Alvin Boluntad.

2023 Munting Sinulog Queen Princess Nancy Bongcahig-Yui


Her Majesty, Queen Nancy is now a Grade 6 pupil under the advisory of
Teacher Jessie Mae V. Calo.
And now, let us all hail our 2024 Munting Sinulog Royalties!

2024 Munting Sinulog King, Restituto “Thirdy” Obliosca-Lamban III. King


Thirdy is a Kindergarten I Section Love learner, Teacher Marjie M. Idio is his
adviser. His parents, Mr. Restituto Jr. & Mrs. Gellie Lamban hopes and pray
that he will grow up to be an obedient and responsible child so he can achieve
his dreams in the future. They are thankful to God for giving them a talented,
cheerful, and fun-loving son. This 4-year-old royal hails from Aquino-De Lara
St. Brgy. 5 Gingoog City once again, all hail our Munting Sinulog King, His
Majesty King Thirdy!

Munting Sinulog Queen 2024! Her Majesty, Queen Arianne Jane Monterola-
Idio, our cute and pretty Munting Sinulog Queen is 6 years old and is a Grade
1 Section Faith pupil under the care of Teacher Jenielyn Rodriguez. Our
Queen’s parents, Mr. Eugenio Idio III and Mrs. Marjie Monterola-Idio has high
hopes that she will fulfill continue being an obedient and persevering daughter
so that her dreams become a reality. Ladies and gentlemen, all hail our
Munting Sinulog Queen, Her Majesty, Queen Lalai!

Sinulog Prince of Faith: Jan Michael Beltran Andig


Prince Michael is a 20 year old Bachelor of Science in Information and
Technology student under the care of Mr. Arl Kheem Rey galario. His royal
higness is Mr. Guadencio and Mrs. Namusan B Andig.s son whose ambition is
to become a famous Drag Queen Superstar attending the RuPaul Drag Race
vs. the World. “Don’t be afraid to fail. Be afraid not to try” is the motto he lives
by. The Prince of Faith, Jan Michael Beltran Andig!

Sinulog Princess of Faith: Jennelyn J. Refil


Her Royal Highness, Princess Jennelyn is the charming daughter of Mr. &
Mrs. Rene and Jocelyn Refil. She resides in Maanas, Medina, Misamis
Oriental. She is a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration student
headed by Mrs. Jannete Sanjorjo. Her royal highness dreams of becoming a
CEO to manage businesses with visionary leadership, sustainable growth and
encourage limitless innovation. She believes in the saying, “Enjoy every
moment because you’ll never know when it’s too late.” Once again Sinulog
Princess of Faith, Jennelyn Refil!
Sinulog Prince of Hope: Jovani Lugsanay
Prince Jovani is a 19 year old student taking up Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration headed by Mrs. Jannete Sanjorjo. He is the son of
Papa Joselito and Mama Nenith Lugsanay. To become a future entrepreneur
is his dream because he believes that it’s the most effective path to financial
independence and freedom. “If you believe, you can achieve!” Dear friends,
His Royal Highness, The Prince of Hope, Jovani Lugsanay!

Sinulog Princess of Hope: Nissi Tabuan


Princess Lovely, is a sweet 9-year old Grade 4 pupil under the guidance of
Ms. Nove Xuxa C. Talja. She resides in Brgy. 18-A, Gingoog City. Her
wonderful parents, Thirteen Edwards and Christopher Edwards love to see
her grow up beautiful, smart and kind as she already is. Once again, our
Princess of Hope, Nissi Tabuan!

Munting Sinulog Prince of Love: Christopher B. Japson II


Mr. & Mrs. Christopher and Angie Japson beams with happiness and pride as
their 18-year old son proudly presents his department, Education! Headed by
Mr. Joevannie B. Acera. Prince Christopher dreams to become a teacher
where he can guide young minds, empower and mold futures , leaving the
knowledge on each student’s journey. With this in mind, he believes to not
give up until he reaches the top. Once again, our Sinulog Prince of Love,
Christopher Japson!.

Munting Sinulog Princess of Love: Christine Abejo


Princess Christine is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Charlin Abejo.
She is 18 years old, residing in San Juan, Gingoog City. Her royal highness is
a student of Mr. Joevannie B. Acera under the program Bachelor of
Secondary Education Major in English. “Faith over fear” is her philosophy in
life. Princess Christine dreams of becoming a teacher as well because it’s a
noble profession that shapes character of young minds and she hopes to be a
role model of young individuals. Ladies and gentlemen, our Princess of Love,
Christine Abejo!

Sinulog Prince of Peace: Earl John Castillon


His royal highness is the son of Papa Jonjon and Mama Sheryl Castillon. He
is 19 years old and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology student under the
care of their program head, Mrs. Roxell Catian Abarrientos. He believes in the
saying, “To learn today, to lead tomorrow.” As a criminology student, Prince
Earl dreams to serve our beloved country and our fellow countrymen to the
best of his abilities. Once again, Prince of Peace, Earl John Castillon.

Sinulog Princess of Peace: Shane Mae A. Anacaya


Her royal highness is the loving daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edilberto and Amalia
Anacaya. She lives in San Luis, Gingoog City. Princess Shane is a 3 rd yr
Bachelor of Science in Crimimology student under the guidance of Mrs. Roxell
Catian Abarrientos. She believes that “Always remember to fall asleep with a
dream and wake up with a purpose.” With that in mind, Princess Shane
dreams to serve not only the people but also the nation that she hold in the
highest regard. Once again, Princess of Peace, Shane Mae Anacaya..

2023 Sinulog King, Ethan Matthew Guiñeta-Lumayno
His Majesty, King Ethan is now in Senior High School studying in Cagayan de
Oro City.

2023 Sinulog Queen Mary Joliza L. Madrazo


Her Majesty, Queen Marjo is now in college, pursuing a
____________________________degree in ___________________.

And now, let us all rise and hail our 2024 Sinulog Royalties!

2024 Sinulog King, King Rege Boy M. Lanticse. King Reje is a 12-year old
Grade 7 Section Molave student under the advisory of Mrs. Bernadeth R.
Cagmat. His parents, Glenn and Renie is so thankful for he is a very
responsible and loving son. His Majesty hails from Brgy. Tagpako, Gingoog
City. All hail our Sinulog King 2024, King Rege Boy!

Sinulog Queen 2024, Queen Ashle Alexandria Dime-Padilla! Our stunning


and lovely Queen Ashle is 16 years old, residing in Purok Dos Barangay
Maanas Medina Misamis Oriental. She hails from Grade 10 Section Talisay, is
under the advisory of Mr. Joseph Gerson A. Balana. Our Sinulog Queen is the
daughter of Mr. Gwyn & Mrs. Donabelle Padilla; she is equally loved and very
much supported by her grandparents, most especially her Lola, Mrs. Gloria
Padilla. Once again, our strikingly beautiful Sinulog Queen, Her Majesty
Queen Ashle!

At this point it is time to bestow our Royal Court their titles and Crown our
2024 Sinulog Royalties! We request the parents and guardians to be on stage
for the conferment ceremony.
