With the recorded data about how fast they ran from 15 meters, they will compare their
record from each other.

The teacher will ask the students what they recall of the last activity.
The teacher will ask what they learn about the force.

Explore Imagine you are in a dungeon and you need to clear a scenario. What you need to do in
order to clear the scenario is to answer the questions of the wizard. Each question
answered correctly will reward you chips that is equivalent to 5 points. You need atleast

Explain The teacher will provide the answers in the questions and provide the chips for those
who get the correct answers.

Elaborate Key concepts will be discuss by the teacher.

Since motion involves a change in position, we are interested in such questions as the
following in dealing with a moving body, whether it is you, a car, or an airplane:

 Where is it?
 How fast is it traveling?
 Where is it going?
 Is it slowing down or speeding up?
 Is it moving steadily?
 Is it changing direction?

We can observe an object if it is moving by observing the changes in its position

(distance) over time. This is what we called speed. Speed is a measure how fast or slow
an object travels. If we can determine the distance traveled by the object and the period
of time it required to travel the given distance, we can calculate its average speed by the
equation:

average speed =

or we can use the symbols,

vave =

2 3 km in 0
For example, a cyclist travels ½ hour, his speed is?
