II. Narrative Report/ Executive Summary

First SLAC for the school year 2021-2022 was facilitated by Ms. Sheryl D. Catanghal, Grade
3 teacher, under the guidance of the School Principal, Sir Robert D. Victor and with the participation of teachers of
Doña Damiana De Leon Macam Memorial Elementary School last October 15,2021. T h e s e s s i o n s t a r t e d w i t h
t h e s i n g i n g o f National Anthem conducted and followed by a n o p e n i n g p r a y e r l e a d e d b y M r s . E v e l y n
M . M a n a l o . The session also started with a warm welcome from Sir Robert D. Victor by giving his
opening remarks.

This SLAC aims to Capacitate teachers on their professional

growth and development through School Learning action Cell (SLAC),school based seminars, trainings and
workshop.

The following topics were discussed during the session:

 Session 1: Strengthening Teachers’ Virtual Classroom Management

 Session 2: Differenr Platforms Ideas for New Normal Learners
 Session 3: Strategies for Effective Intervention

At the end of the SLAC session 90% of the objectives shall have been accomplished with 80%
effectiveness, that teachers have been capacitated with the knowledge of the art of questioning in the reading
classroom.
