Dear Mr. Tyler

I am writing this motivation to apply for perfect in 2023. What is leadership?
Leadership is the act of leading a group or an organization. The reason I would like
to become prefect is that I would like to guide my peers and brothers in green in
the right direction and teach them that you can overcome anything in their way
another reason is to stop the bullying throughout the school.
Pastoral care:
I would like to apply under the portfolio of pastoral care because as a student of
Glenwood high school a student needs someone to address their life problems
and someone who can guide them in the right direction in school and at home. I
have been through a lot through the past few years that have sculpted me into
today’s man. while going through what I did I had a fellow brother to talk to and it
helped to relieve what was building up. People often say that men keep their
problems bottled up and that’s bad for them and whoever is around them. I have
been attending the Glenwood high school leadership course and it has taught me
how to communicate with someone or a group of people, it is vitally important to
know how to communicate with someone as a leader. I think I would be good in
pastoral care because of my soft-hearted personality and am able to listen and
give advice
Discipline:
I would like to apply under the portfolio of discipline because the school needs
boys to inflict a stronger form of discipline. After all, at the moment the level of
discipline in the school is low as we can see in class and at assembly. when we
were in grade 8 the discipline was high and there was no disrespect at all now
after covid the level of discipline is low and it needs to be bought back up. During
the leadership course, we were taught how to have a soft start-up that can help
de-escalate the situation so that it does not spiral into a big problem. I think I
would be a good part of discipline because of my strong sense of right and
knowing the difference between right and wrong.
