Subject : UPDATED COVID-19 SAFETY PRACTICES AT HHB

Dear All,
Within the period of 3rd to 9th Dec 2023, our country recorded more than 12,000 new cases
of Covid-19 and 11 deaths. Selangor recorded the highest number with 4,326 cases. Consid-
ering the escalating COVID-19 cases in recent weeks, we want to keep everyone informed on
the enhanced safety & health measures that we are implementing, effective from Thursday,
14 December 2023.

Your health and well-being are our top priorities, and these guidelines are aimed at minimiz-
ing the risk of transmission within our workplace. Please familiarize yourself with the follow-
ing updates:

1. Face Mask Ruling:


Wearing a face mask is compulsory for all employees in Wisma DRB-HICOM for one
month. This ruling will be reviewed from time to time subject to the situation.

2. Reporting of Positive Cases:


Employees who tested positive for COVID-19 must complete the E-profile on Fellow at
https://eprofile.drb-hicom.com/Login and report to their respective Heads of
Department (HOD).

3. Elevator Ruling (Max Capacity):


During this period, the maximum elevator capacity is limited to five (5) people. Please
adhere to the yellow markings for proper distancing.

4. Standard Procedures for Confirmed Cases:


Employees with symptoms must undergo Covid-19 testing and if confirmed positive,
must be isolated for five (5) days. Asymptomatic employees who tested positive may be
isolated and work-from-home with permission from the HOD. Symptomatic employees
who tested positive and are not fit to work must be isolated and take medical leave (MC).
5. Office Sanitization Process and Procedures:
If the number of positive cases in the Department is high and office sanitization is re-
quired, the request can be made by Head of Department to Encik Nazrul from Admin &
Facilities Management.

6. Visitors' & Contractors Ruling:


Visitors and contractors are encouraged to wear masks. It will become mandatory if one
has symptoms. If needed, they can get their mask at the reception counter.

7. Physical Meetings / Gatherings:


All meetings must be conducted on-line unless unavoidable. This applies to internal and
external meetings. Classroom training, townhall briefing may be organised as needed but
make sure participants are wearing face masks. Try to minimise physical contact and take
necessary precautions at crowded events and physical gatherings. Observe physical dis-
tancing within the workplace.

8. Health and Safety Resources:


Employees with symptoms can obtain test kits and face masks from Cik Siti Asmad at the
Group Safety, Health, and Environment (GSHE), Level 6.

Your cooperation in adhering to these measures is crucial for maintaining a safe and healthy
work environment. We appreciate your commitment to the well-being of our community.
