Dining at Freemasons’ Hall is available for all Lodge and Chapters that meet at

Freemasons’ Hall. It is also available to all Lodge or Chapters that are celebrating
an anniversary such as a Centenary.

To provide all masonic lodges the opportunity to experience dining at Freemasons’


Hall, the home of Freemasonry and one of England’s finest art deco buildings, from
1st June 2023, we are delighted to offer a number of new rooms and dining options:

 Introduction of a new 2 course ‘homestyle’ menu

 Bring your favourite tipple – no corkage fee
 Introduction of a complimentary coffee station (located in the bar)
 Pre-order / in-dining bar service
 New dining room space – Old Board Room and New Board Room
 Outdoor informal dining – Courtyard

Please note: the Rulers, Grand Secretary/Grand Scribe E and the Grand Director of
Ceremonies are of the opinion that there is no requirement for toasts to be tyled
and some of the spaces used for dining at FMH are not always private rooms.

FMHDining@freemasonshall.com. Bookings 6 months in advance are highly
recommended to secure your preferred date(s) – we do not provide an
automatic booking service.
 When placing an order for lunch or dinner, please note:
- Select one dish only from each course: starter/main /dessert;
- One vegetarian alternative for the starter and main. Cheese or non-diary
option offered as a dessert alternative;
- Main course fish alternative is available – additional charge applicable.
 Inform caterer of any allergens or specialist dietary requirements.
 Kosher menus are available on request.
 Coffee and tea service is available for a minimum of 5 guests – additional
charge applicable.

Booking Terms & Conditions:


1. The minimum number of attendees for dining at Freemasons’ Hall is 25 diners, if your lodge is the
only lodge dining on the day. Numbers less than 25 will incur a surcharge fee.
2. Final menu selection (including timings) is required no later than 10 days prior to your dining date.
3. Final attendee numbers (including increased numbers) is required no later than 7 days prior to your
dining date.
4. A decrease in number of attendees less than 7 days prior to your dining date will incur a per head
charge.
5. Dietary requirements should be notified no later than 7 days prior to the dining date.
6. Please note that the caterers are at liberty to offer the chef’s choice for any modified orders that fall
under 7 days prior to the dining date.
7. Table/ seating plans (if any) are required no later than 5 days prior to the dining date. Please request
a printed seating plan to display in your dining room. Place cards and menus are not printed.
8. Function sheet for your approval and estimated costs are sent prior to the dining dates.
9. Additional drinks ordered during dinner will be added to final dining invoice.
10. Invoices are sent post the dining date and payable within 28 days of receipt of the invoice.
